Wonderful meal and very friendly staff. Reasonably priced too. Highly recommend if you’re looking for an authentic Turkish meal.

Very tasty food, friendly and attentive staff, and nice calm music. Can recommend the sea bream, lamb chops, and sea food casserole - those we tried. Tastes were interesting, balanced, and meat and fish were nicely cooked.

Meryem came highly recommended on the tourist pages, so we decided to give it a try. We had a warm and friendly greeting, and I'm not sure of the man's name who stands "front of house". However i just wanted to say he's incredibly friendly, and made us feel "at home". Even when we walked by in the evenings, he would have a quick chat with us.
The food was very good, and they even accommodated my fussy 9 year old. Who only wanted a plate of rice and chips. Portion size was great and prices reasonable.
I'd definitely recommend others to try here

Ate a couple of times here during a 12 day stay.
Was our go to restaurant 4 years ago and quality is still as good. Only reason we didn't eat here more was due to distance to where we were staying and the heatwave...

Went to Meryem Wednesday night and the food ,staff,service was nothing short of amazing. We had Mezze,salad starter I had Beef dish ,my wife Diane had a lamb dish . When the waiter bought our food the owner took our plates and served our food before wishing us a nice evening. The food was amazing, easily the best weve had in two weeks.
