Tend Downtown

This will be my second TEND office and they did not disappoint with service. It was 100% on point. Am a three time cancer survivor and I have osteoporosis, so I was super nervous about doing any dental work because my doctor putting the fear in my head that nothing could be done. My doctor was fabulous. He put my fears at ease. My concern was any dental work going to the bone and causing any side effects. Now I have done mini root canals in the past, and all have been excruciatingly painful. Now you guys are gonna laugh at me, but this doctor was careful with me from start to finish.

The downside was I had to dip into savings to pay $631 super pricey but for the service they give it’s worth it. Unfortunately I can’t afford these prices. I was hoping that they take credit or credit card which I had assumed being at Navy Yard office and seeing their sign in my daughter, confirming that they do take it. Long story short, they don’t take credit credit so affording the rest of my treatment is going to be difficult.

Anyone wanting to try them? I would give it 1000 stars if I could try them out.

The appointment was fine. At the end of the appointment I was asked if I wanted to book my next visit. I very clearly said no. I later got an email saying that my next appointment was booked (for a random time slot 6 months out) and it included all the information about fees incurred for missed appointments. I then had to find out how to cancel and had to provide a fake reason because “I didn’t book this” wasn’t on the list and it’s a required question.

From the beginning it was an amazing experience with Dawn checking me In and being very hospitable. Then being taken back and having my teeth cleaned and handled carefully by dental hygienist Maddie. Then with Dr.Ho being extremely personable and keeping me informed and how to continue to maintain and keep my teeth healthy. Great team, clean office and overall experience was 10/10.

I had a wonderful experience at Tend Downtown. Upon entering the building, I was greeted warmly by Ms. Dawn at the front desk. Shortly afterward, I was welcomed to the back by Ila who was the dentist technician. Ila was conversational and cordial which made me feel very comfortable. Dr. Cam was very upfront and personable about what I needed to get done in terms of my dental health. The entire process took only about an hour which is unheard of in most dentist offices I've been to in DC. Thanks so much to the Tend Downtown team, I'll be back for sure and now I have a place for my dental needs. A+++

Great experience getting my teeth cleaned. Not sure i understand these negative reviews. Dawn at the front was really friendly and my hygienist was just so sweet and made the visit more relaxing and comfortable. I received a treatment plan quickly and am able to schedule my next appointment quick too.

I am very anxious about going to the dentist, but Tend made the process as stress-free as possible! The dentist and dental hygienist were very nice and made the cleaning practically pain free. The Tend team worked with me on a treatment plan and made sure it worked with my insurance. Definitely recommend!

My third time at Tend and not one regret. The hygienist today could easily be the poster child for hygienists. I know I’m finally in good hands. Although I went to the dentist regularly, the care was subpar. It was bad. So happy I listened to my colleague. There’s a lot of fixing to do but I’m in the right care now. ❤️💯. The faculty is prestige, the staff high performing, friendly and knowledgeable. Never going anywhere else. Thanks so much everyone!!
