Clayton Candy Shop

Found this place online and stopped in here tonight. The lady at the counter was so nice and very helpful to find everything we needed. I wish we would have found this place sooner, and maybe they wouldn't have to close down 😔. I'm sad to find this place too late, but I'm glad I got to stop by and buy a bunch of chips and candy before they close.

Amazing selection of items that I would have found in a grocery store or corner market. Amazing staff and helpful with selecting from their cool soda selection.

Walked passed here when I was going get an item from Facebook marketplace, so I decide to stop here. I got to say this is a awesome place to get some candy. Hi-Chew was my favorite and other items. I would make this my number one spot next time when I want some rare candy.

Stopped in as I was walking by and it was a terribly great decision! (Terrible as in I bought way too much candy! LOL). I didn’t get the name of the lady working but she was just absolutely lovely! She immediately pointed out some recommendations for what I was looking for and we had a great little chat! I will definitely be going back.

This is hilarious but I’ve been standing outside the store while whoever is inside sees me and they’re open but they obviously don’t want my money lol. She ignoring me because of a wall display. Best of luck on your business take care.

Regardless of HOW or where I was standing, I was outside the store waving at the woman from outside, knocking on the glass, she didn’t even look at me. Regardless of whether or not she was doing something important, when it comes to business, nothing is more important than a customer or potential customer especially given that this is a new place and while I’m 100% sure this business will do very well, hopefully they realize that customers are the most important ingredient, nevermind the ones that bring you MORE business and that I will not be doing, given the fact that I was ignored completely, on a cold night and clearly wanting to spend money.

Bought gummy bears and gummy frogs here, both were expired. The pineapple gummy bears smelled like sewage. The frogs were one hard lump, all stuck together. Disappointing because the reviews seem good here. The girl didn’t offer me a receipt and I didn’t notice at the time, once I opened my candy at home it all made sense. Oh well, won’t be going back which is a shame because my child loved it in there.

What a little gem! I finally had the chance to stop by a few days ago and can definitively say they have a wide selection of candy to suit every taste and craving. Candy that takes you on a trip down memory lane to unique candy bars such as blueberry muffin Kit Kat. Also worth noting is the nice selection of novelty candy that makes for a unique gift and would be a neat addition to something like a gift basket or a stocking stuffer during the holidays. The young man working behind the counter was helpful and friendly and pleasant to chat with. We will be back!
