Rocky Mtn Chocolate

Went in today and the sales associate was on her phone, took 5 mins to notice I needed help. She seemed bothered that I interrupted her phone call. Handled the apples without gloves which is not ok. When she packaged the apples after cutting them she put on a tiny elastic on top of the bag. The bag was open and not closed properly with a sticker. I had to ask her to package properly. I asked for a bag and was told its an extra 50 cents. Left the bag on the counter and walked away to help another customer. I bagged my own apples. Not impressed with the service. I thought rocky mountain had a specialty high end store reputation. I have been to other locations with a much better experience.

I purchased two almond and chocolate-covered candy apples, but they tasted disappointingly stale. Given their price point, I expected fresher quality.

Can I give zero stars please? I went all the way to Guildford on a special request for a caramel apple before a permanent tooth removal. And they were closed. Not even a note on the door to explain why, when the rest of the mall was open. Inexcusable.

Service here is terrible. Every time I come here the sales person is talking on their cellphone. Should that be permitted during work hours? It's not just one person. It's all of them. They ignore you when you come in because they're busy chatting with their friends. They seem annoyed when you actually want to buy something and they have to hang up.

There isn't much selection, the prices are ridiculous, and they only ever have two flavours of fudge. I thought this place used to be known for their fudge. Now it just seems to be an afterthought. 2 flavours tucked in the bottom corner for $15 per half slab or $25 for a whole slab which used to be $10. As for the other treats, I'm not paying $5 for the equivalent of one Reese's peanut butter cup

My favourite place to go when I’m near Robson st.

We brought the caramel and cheese cake chocolate. The taste is great, its mouth licking. We ate half and kept other half in the fridge for having it a couple days later and it succumbed to fungus. Its too much sweet to consume at once, so that is an area where I think its need improvement.
