Los angeles Cafe Fort kochi

Nice place with good food and good price. The staff was very friendly as well and served me delicious fresh fish. The building is historic and I loved the wooden stairs leading up to the dining area. Very good cost-benefit.

The place doesn't have the best view though despite being right at the waterfront. There are some nearby restaurants along the coast where you can sit right by the water which can be very nice during sunset. They are usually twice as expensive though.

I found this place in Fort Kochi at the beginning of my stay in Kerala. I was so pleased to have found it. On the first visit I ordered omelette because I just wanted something light due to the heat. When the plate of food came I was amazed. It was a delicious omelette with buttered toast, and on the side was fresh pineapple and fresh watermelon. It was incredible. It’s a family restaurant that was previously a Japanese restaurant. I’ve been in a couple of times now and there has hardly been anyone there, but the season has dropped off now because of the heat. I really do hope that this restaurant goes from strength to strength because you can really feel the love that the chef and her family put into every aspect of their business. If you’re in the area and want somewhere fantastic to eat, definitely give this place a go. You won’t be disappointed I can assure you.

Went for chicken biryani and we had an unplanned fried fish. The fish was fresh, just caught. we had one dry and one in gravy. They were delicious. Service was excellent! Highly recommend!

The place is an absolute delight. The hallmark of a great restaurant is if it can provide you with freshly cooked food, which is rare to find but you are getting it here. It feels like I am having food in my home. The food is damn delicious, we ordered an extreme variety with local puttu with green curry - Kerela delight to Italian delicacy Red sauce pasta, and amazingly both taste equally good. The staff and our dear aunty is extremely friendly and warm. The place has an excellent hygiene with conscious owner and the ambience is soothing and you can choose the view you want from street side to backwater. If in Kochi don't miss it. It's worth every penny. Good people at good places when provide great food, it shouldn't be missed! Recommended for every traveller!

I loved Los Angeles Cafe in Fort Kochi more than any other cafes in the area. The ambiance, vibe, service, and comfort provided by the cafe were exceptional. I tried the Chicken Noodles and Chicken Sandwich, both of which were impressive in terms of taste and presentation. I am looking forward to visiting the cafe again soon.
