Boulevard - 24 Hour Coffee Shop - The Orchid

My first visit to the ORCHID restaurant was shortly after it reopened after the lockdown, and the assortment of food was amazing. There is no better breakfast, brunch, or dinner buffet in town than that at The Boulevard. Dessert and chat are undoubtedly the best parts of their buffet. The buffet is highly recommended. Both the food and the atmosphere are excellent. All staff members are courteous and helpful.

What a happy accident this was. I am new to Mumbai and chose a coffee place at random to do some work. I arrived not expecting such a grand experience. High quality food and service, with individualized customer attention. A great place to bring a date or family for a meal. Or you can just be some random expat that wandered in off the street like me. :)

Excellent breakfast & buffet dinner spread! A lot of variety including chaat, starters (veg, non-veg & seafood) & a huge spread of tasty desserts! Their coffee & tea is one of the best across the Mumbai breakfast buffets. Service is good & seating area is nice with a 6 floor water fall view! Thanks chef, Suresh ji for the yumm chaat & team Boulevard (Akash for prompt service & George for the French75 mocktail) for a wonderful dining experience this entire week! I have also heard that their Sunday brunch spread is at the next level, looking forward to it too :)

We went to Boulevard Restaurant, at the ORCHID, Mumbai near the domestic Airport. We visited the place for a afternoon Buffet.
The buffet timings during weekdays are from 12-3pm. They have a lavish setup of salads, chaat, continental, italian and desserts.
They had a great variety of delicious desserts including vegetarian and non vegetarian salads like, Pepper Sausage, Cured Basa, Roulade, pita bread, hummus, Caesar's salad.
They had live counters for Italian and Chaat cuisines. We had fresh alfredo penne pasta, tossed right out of the pan. The chacha at the Chaat counter also made delicious chaats. The palak pakoda chaat, papdi chaat and the kachodi chaat were truly finger licking.
The entrées had a continental, asian and muhglai selection. The Baked fish pie and the Chicken Dum Biryani was amazing. I truly loved it.
The desserts selection were a bliss. A range of rabdi, kheer, gulabjamun, pattiseries, jellys, mooses, panacottas and a lot more are truly a star ending to a delicious meal.
I had a great dining experience and would love to visit Boulevard again.

Boulevard

Visited this place on a Sunday Brunch without any prior table reservations. When I entered and started looking at the entrance, the place looked very interesting. I thought and expected that I am going to surprise myself by indulging into a lavish buffet and fine dining experience.

The place is quite specious and has a really cool vibe.

Starters, chaat and mocktails were served on table which was fairly fine.

Coming to the mains they really have a good variety of dishes in Veg and Non Veg too. Special mention of their Indian menu everything was really nice.

In desserts again they have really good variety of Indian desserts, pastries and cakes.

The service of the place is really good. The staff is very polite and really helpful. The food quality, service and the ambience everything was up to the mark.

Boulevard - The Orchid 😍❤

Boulevard is a 24 hour's open buffet Resto-Bar located on the first floor in a very well known 5 Star Hotel The Orchid. This place offers buffer almost all the time, Morning, afternoon, night and mid-night as well. I went here on last Saturday for dinner buffet. In buffet they have soo many different varieties for both Vegetarians and Non-Vegetarians. They have Mocktail's / Cocktail's, Indian Starter's, Italian Starter's, Side's, Salad's in both Veg n Non-Veg, then they also have live Chaat and Pasta Counter's, live Pizza Counter they have only on Sunday then Main Course, Dessert's and everything which a proper buffet should have.

Coming to what all we had :-)

~ Mocktail's

1• Fruit Punch – We both had fruit punch only as it's my one of the favorite Mocktail.

~ Side's

1• Vegetable Sandwich – There were 2 type's of sandwiches with American fillings. One of white bread and second of brown bread.

2• Nacho's – There were Nacho's but you had to make them by your own with your own choice. For nacho's they had kept nacho's with salsa and cheese n all so you yourself can make it.

3• Bhakarwadi / Dhokla - Both were very nice especially Dhokla was too soft and good.

Then they also had Watermelon and Muskmelon in Fruit's. And also they had soo many soo many different varieties of Salad's in Veg n Non-Veg both. After this they also had products containing curd like curd rice, mix raita and simple curd.

Mainly they had all these things in Side's.

~ Chaat's

1• Dahi Vada
2• Aloo Chaat
3• Samosa Chaat

As I have mentioned that there is a live Chaat counter where you can order whatever you want and the chef himself make it live. We ordered for these 3 Chaat's and we really loved all the 3. Especially Samosa Chaat was too damn good.

~ Starter's

1• Paneer Hariyali Tikka
2• Aloo Chane ki Tikki
3• Mushroom Tart

All these were really nice in taste, Tastewise all were just amazing. You can also order whatever you want.

~ Main Course

1• Khade Masale ka Paneer – It was a bit different which I had for the first time. It wasn't like Shahi or Kadhai Paneer but it was just totally different which only had a different type of masala.

2• Bhendi Chi Bhaji – It was like simple Bhendi Masala only but in it there was onion's also. That's it nothing different.

We only had these 2 dishes but there were soo many other dishes also available like Rajasthani Kadhi, Subz Panchvati, Methi Mutter Malai, Aloo Jeera, Mirch ka Salan and Dal Lasooni.

~ Dessert's

1• Shahi Tukda
2• Chocolate Pastry
3• Angoori Rabdi
4• Mud Cake
5• Pineapple Jelly
6• Kaju Katri

We tried all these dessert's as I'm a dessert lover and all these dessert's were just perfect in their way. Loved all these.

They also had some other types of Barfi, Cake's Mousse etc.

We headed here for lunch & with an option of the buffet we got to taste different varieties of cuisines. From Chicken Soup to Paneer starters, Chicken Biryani to Fish Curry, Indian Chat to Chinese options and chocolate pastries to Indian sweets, we loved every food item that was served here.

Service is quick & the staff is very courteous.

We would highly recommend Boulevard for an experience that caters natural air, tranquility & delicious meals of different cuisines.
