They make you pay for the seat selection or you are moved to standby and risk missing the flight

Thank goodness for my gate agent at Newark who was very helpful, but what a nightmare. We booked our son with an unaccompanied minor ticket. The day before his flight we called to confirm who was dropping him off, picking him up, and how early before the flight we could drop him off to avoid any surprises at the airport. So imagine my surprise when I come to check him in with all my documents and am told I have to wait with him until his flight departure, and if I can’t do that, then I have to cancel the service, and no one will help him at all. Also, if we choose that option, he now loses his priority boarding and will have to check his bag, when we purposely sent him carry on only so he wouldn’t be stressed about retrieving checked luggage. Truly the only reason I am not in full break down mode is thanks to the kindness of our gate agent, who called to the gate agent to allow him to keep his bag. But do better, Air Canada. Make your policies clear, especially when people call ahead to clarify exactly what they need to do

My trip has been changed 4 times already for either getting to my destination or the way back. 4 changes total and I still have not started my trip. 😡

Had a wonderful experience flying Air Canada... particularly impressed at the quality of their Kosher Meal...lots better than many others

If you are reading this and it is not too late ask for Miss Grace. Were it not for Miss Grace I would have rated this one a 1 star. On 07/25/2023 at around 3:00 p.m, teller # 105 was horrible. She doesn't have time to listen actively. She kept on sending us to United Airlines counter and asking my family and I to call Customer Service which takes about 1.5 hr to get through after long holds. Supervisor didn't help much. Miss Grace actually left her station and came with us to the United Airlines to resolve a ticket issue. She was actually training another associate, so there may be good hope with this airline when it comes to customer service. Thank you Miss Grace!

I have a connected flight to Miami in Newark. Went to the Air Canada counter to ask them for help with a boarding pass. One of the girls in there told me very rudely that Air Canada does not flight to Miami! - so I was like, I bought the ticket with Air Canada. Definitely disappointed that my country airlines hire such a rude people. We Canadians are known to be polite!

Thats the reason Air Canada service is cheaper then taxi. While guest waiting in lane she is busy on phone.
