Very nice show of making tea process. Nice place to visit.

We are pleased with the factory visit. We were told in detail about all stages of tea production. This was followed by a magnificent walk through the tea plantation. And at the end - tea tasting. Recommended to visit!

On our trip to Sri Lanka we were interested in tea plantation visit so our friends who hosted us took us to Gunawardana Tea Factory. Trip to the factory was very interesting, watching surrounding nature and local life. Factory visit exceeded my expectations a lot! You can basically see everything. From how are tea leaves picked to how are they processed and become tea of different quality. Loads of interesting information from our host Roman finished with amazing tasting where you can (but you don't have to) also purchase the tea you saw in production. Absolutely recommend to everyone visiting Sri Lanka, also well worth to travel for it...
