One of the better stores, never had a problem in this one. Well stocked and staff friendly.
They simply have everything that u need for everyday use and everyday cook.
Always missing stock. Empty shelves. You never can be sure will you buy yours favorite food. I have been making weekly grocery shopping there from more than 2 years and it never happened that I get everything I wanted. And misleading price tags on the shelves with offers and then at the till you figure out that it's not updated! Is it a standard in every Lidl or I have too high expectations???
Every time I buy "fresh" meat from the Connswater store, it's sour/off!
This has happened repeatedly across a variety of products - most recently today with bacon with a vest before date in June, yet when I cooked it was clearly off! Meat and poultry is not being stored correctly before it reaches the shelves!
I will not be returning to lidl again when I have to throw products out - I'll pay a bit more and go elsewhere!

I bought only 1 garlic pack but they counted me as 12. After going to the store they returned my money immediately, so professional. A lot of cheap and fresh food here. I shop here frequently.
More or less the same as all big stores. Less likely to get individual customer service as the stores are run with minimum staff. And their staff objective is primarily to stock the shelves and operate the tills.
Selection of own brand products is good on price and quality.

Brand new Lidl store just opened 2 weeks ago. Opposite the old Lidl on Montgomery Road Belfast. Beautiful store with lots of space. Fresh and bright as just new. Great freshly baked bread and pastries! Friendly staff. Absolutely the best of the best in fresh local fruit and vegetables. Lots of offers and great selection of vegan and vegetarian food. Love it 🤩😍
