If you've never swam with dolphins before I would highly recommend visiting Dolphin Bay in Dubai.
It was my one off experience and I enjoyed it a lot much to my surprise. The instructors there are fantastic, it was a very informative and fun session with the dolphins.
I would suggest that you book tickets beforehand although the queues weren't that bad the time slots go fast.

In summary, and expensive experience that does not deliver any wow factor or customer focus.
This was disappointing really. From the start it was a conveyor belt of people without any personal regard.
The actual experience lasted about 15 to 20 minutes, far short of thr advertised 30 minutes. It was not about the experience is was about listening to the trainer mainly who was relatively full of himself. Only masks were supplied without snorkels sp the ability for my family to observe the animal underwater was massively compromised. No attempt was made to show off the power and grace of the dolphins, it was a bunch of rehearsed tricks.
If you have never been around large aquatic animals you may get something out of this, but not so if you have experience of them in the wild. This was aimed Purley at efficient money extraction and not really at customer experience. Very much in contrast to the lost Chambers aquarium. Also in contrast to lost Chambers was no mention of any form of conservation or give back, so it came across as purely captive dolphins for a business purpose to make as much profit as possible. That gave it a sour atmosphere
Lastly, on the exit a guy was asking for Nationality and age, we asked why and he said for feedback. We questioned a little deeper and it turns out that his job is to submit all of the feedback forms by gathering as much personal data as possible. But that shows very much in the experience that feedback and customer focus is not there at all, so the only feedback they want is self generated positive feedback, and not the ability to learn and grow

Amazing experience, specially for kids also nice staff. Dolphin interaction was out of this world. The water was freezing although it is summer time. The photos were overpriced but really worth it. Nice photos taken by their photographer.
Dolphin Bay Atlantis, I think they have changed the name now and it's Atlas Village.
We had a great encounter with our dolphin Lilly.
The animal is well taken care of.
Remember the main purpose of Dolphins encounter is to raise awareness on how we should keep our environment specially sea clean so these majestic animals can live into the wild.

This is just for people to have a clear description of the (poor) service provided to be able to choose accordingly. There are 2 things that you should consider before buying their most expensive service (dolphin swim - described on their site ar being 'a chance to swim and interact with dolphins'): this is not swim with dolphins but swim around a dolphin. You will be in a group of 8-10 people (so is not an experience dedicated to you as you might expect after reading the site description but to a group from which you will be part of) and a dolphin will swim from time to time around you. You will not swim with the dolphin, you will swim close to one. In terms of effective interaction youl will have the chance just to look at it, to touch it 2 or 3 times when it will come for the pictures. Because you will be in a group and because of how the program is built you will have in the 20 minutes duration the chance to touch it 2 or max 3 times. The rest of the time you will hear explanations and watch the dolphin doing some poor tricks. Not exactly what I was expecting when choosong this service. My recomandation, in case you really want to go is to choose dolphin meet & greet which is cheaper and in terms of satisfaction you have pretty much the same feeling but a lower price. At least you will not be suprised (frustrated) at the end thinking that this was not quite what you expected when booking this. Quite a poor experience in my view...
Also, in care you want to have a member of your family to enter as observer and be able to take pictures of you or film you, before deciding to pay the extra fee you should know that the observer will be only allowed to take pictures from the shore which is quite far from the place where you and the dolphin will be. You will not be allowed to get closer to take better pictures allthough there are options to come closer. See the attached picture (bear in mind that is made with zoom on) before deciding if worth to pay the extra fee for the observer...

Really unbelievable experience with dolphins, we took dolphin encounter, it was great, but if everybody in your group can swim - go for dolphin swim, definitely worth extra money.

The best experience we had in Dubai, the instructors were very informative, professional and very kind, the children really loved this activity and they are looking forward to swim with the dolphin again.
