Indian Restaurant Samrat

Not up to the mark Indian food, food was not even properly cooked and not a great quality.

This is a wonderful restaurant with great food, incredible atmosphere and a friendly owner who got us our food very fast. We ordered thali and it was incredibly good. You need to come here to eat great food.

The lady was rude.
Chai was overcooked so tasted bitter and strangely also salty. I drink Chai latte very often. This one is the worst I ever have.

Naan was burned and tasted like the dough was not prepared well.

I was treated unwell either. All experience was not worth the money.

Honest review from Indians- Worst experience of my entire Munich trip. Ordered 3 main course dishes, 2 of them were extremely sweet. Paid a hell lot of money for the food which hurt a lot but what was more hurtful was the behaviour of the lady serving the food. She was very rude from the beginning to end to me and my friends. At first we gave her the benefit of doubt and let this behaviour slide thinking she might be having a rough day! But then we saw her behaving extra friendly towards localities dining in with us. Another indian couple walked in and got the same treatment as we got. The restaurant was closing soon so she came and asked us to wrap up quickly not in a gentle manner but like with a “get lost” kind of attitude! The couple on the other table politely requested her to pack their rice to which she REFUSED saying “who takes away this little rice! This cannot be packed!” They paid in full for their food and were told the food cannot be packed!
All of us let everything go at that moment given we were visiting a new place and as she looked like a motherly figure! Having that said, it is not something that you expect when you pay 75€ for food that is extremely sweet, food you are not allowed to pack and such rude attitude that spoils your entire mood for the day! Still confused why only indians were treated so rudely!

The service lady is very arrogant. What you expect in a good rated restaurant is good service. She was really rude while serving, also refused to pack leftover food initially stating "this is so less, who can even pack it".
Really disappointed with the vibe, she was not friendly and welcoming at all. Would never recommend this place to anyone.
Moreover, this is the worst restaurant I've ever been to (in terms of service ONLY).

Two days ago I went there for lunch and had Samosas and the Chicken Korma.
The Samosas were fine but a bit on the overpowering spicy side for me personally. The Chicken Korma was fantastic 😍 I enjoyed every bite of it and the portion was really good, too.

The service was very friendly and casual. The restaurant itself is a bit on the older side but that has it's charm as well 😉

For the food I'd come again, if I come back to visit Munich. 😋

This restaurant offers the best Indian food in Germany but make sure you don’t get one particular waitress. This waitress appeared to be drunk while working and had an attitude. This women had the audacity to charge us the wrong amount and then proceeds to get mad and start pointing fingers at my face being really rude. If you go to this place make sure you pay attention to your receipt. If I was the owner of this restaurant I will kick this waitress, the place is fantastic but except the customer service of this particular women.
