The museum is for non Italian speakers rather boring and badly presented (without guide). Many descriptions are only in Italian and some interactive stuff was also in Italian. As an international tourist I thought it was sad how little information was in English( about a quarter to a third was translated) . Therefore I wouldn’t recommend it to non Italian speakers.

The staff will not hesitate to sell you tickets shortly before closing and then throw you out mid-visit.
And no, it's not up to the tourist to watch the time. Have been to a lot of places where tickets are no longer sold after a certain hour or at least a warning is given, and this is how it should be done.

A place you must visit if you are in Padova city. Medicine history and a didáctica trip to know human body and medical instruments new and old. Here you will find a lot additional information if you do the visit to Bo Palace and Anatomic Theater, first building where the theory and medical practice did teach. We are talking about year 1222 ac.

A decent museum, however, imo primarily oriented for kids and teens, with a variety of multimedia sources and general ideas about systems of organs, and not many actual exhibits to justify a 10€ ticket (adult). A 40-90mins to cover, depending on how much time you're willing to spend at the screens. The expanse of text goes way beyond the exhibits and feels a touch inflated. English text is available on detached A4 plaques, which I personally found disruptive for the experience.

Nice to see, three floors and big body with story. Missing English explain, there is some with paper. Entrance is 10 euros

There are no words to describe how amazing the MUSME - Museo di Storia della Medicina in Padova is! Wonderful experience, so much to see. Highly recommended for anyone with an interest in medicine or just a healthy curiosity about the human body and the evolution of medicine and treatment.

I visited the museum as I like to know about the human biology and the working behind it. It has a detailed history about how anatomy has developed, evolving from the four humours theory to the one we have today. The tools that the scientists used in those days plus their 'operating theatre' too. But I would want to say that the museum does lack some English translations for certain areas.
But aside from that it is a pleasure to visit the museum and check out the medical history that it houses. I would recommend it.
