Vielen Dank
This Museum was incredible as well as being very fun, my kids loved it and so did I and my husband, without a doubt recommend it for a cheap price and interactive. We spent 2 hours there so it was definitely worth the money! With three floors! Adults = 10 euros,Kids = 9 euros
This is a fun museum for kids between 8 and 12 years old, but also adults will enjoy. There are a lot of Leonardo Da Vinci inventions in wood and you can interact with them. Takes about an hour and a half to visit. The staff was friendly and it was clean.
Nice museum. I went with my son, 10 years old. We paid 19€ entrance for both of us. I think it is better to book online to receive a better price. There is a lot to see and explore inside. My son enjoyed it very much and talked about his experience the whole day afterwards.
This museum was such a wonderful experience for all ages & really allowed for great discussions & interactions with our kids. Visiting the Museum with our 4 children ages 18, 15, 13, and 5 they thoroughly enjoyed being able to touch and interact with Leonardo’s creations. My husband and I also found the museum educational & engaging, the perfect respite from the August heat in Florence. We hope to visit again.
Travelled with our 7 year old and this was his favourite museum by far. Literally touching and trying out LDV prototypes and how he designed machines etc that we even use today. Loved the while experience.
Bello!
The Leonardo Da Vinci Interactive Museum in Florence is a fantastic and engaging experience for visitors of all ages. This hands-on museum allows you to explore the genius of Leonardo through interactive exhibits that bring his inventions and ideas to life.

You can try out working models of his designs, which gives a unique insight into his creative mind and engineering skills. The museum also features replicas of his famous artworks and detailed explanations of his various projects.

It's a perfect place for families and anyone interested in Leonardo's contributions to art and science. The interactive nature of the exhibits makes learning fun and memorable. Highly recommended for a visit while in Florence!
I came with my 20 year old daughter before going to see David (very close). It was mostly kids but I love this kind of stuff! Everything seemed to work well and there were good explanations in Italian and English (maybe other languages). I’m glad I got there at opening because when we left it was packed with families with school-aged kids. I think they limit how many people are there though and we had an advance ticket.

Really beautiful museum which holds and unexpected large amount of historical siencficic instruments. The guide app is included in the price and there is free wifi.
Worth to visit even if you aren't a big science nerd for the beautiful instruments. If you are a science nerd: plan at least 3 hours to visit this museum.

We came by the museum on a Thursday at almost 5 and there were very few people there. It might have been because the closing time was 6 pm. We asked the person selling tickets if she thought an hour would be enough to see everything, and she said yes. So we trusted her and she was right. We spent about 45 minutes walking around.

It was cool to see all of the telescopes/gadgets/inventions they used back then, not only by Galileo but by other explorers as well. It was fascinating to see how they came up with the technology back then. After a while though, all of the telescopes kind of start to look the same. Maybe I just don't have the attention span for museums like these but I can see how someone could love it.

I loved seeing Galileo's telescope! There's so much to see in this museum! Strongly recommend going if you enjoy science!
Really nice museum in Florence, different from what we are used to see. Yes the cost is a little high for the time spent in the museum but it's still affordable. We liked every minute we stayed there !

The collection is fantastic, digital guides are informative and interesting to watch.

It was too hot in some of the rooms.

Unfortunately, guests don’t know how to behave in the museums and bring their private discussions to the public, ignoring the fact that others don’t want to listen them.

The museum has a lot of artifacts. Only 10 percent of them has description on them from the museum app. They also have an interactive room down stairs that isn’t too big but it will entertain the kids. Overall all it’s worth going.

Excellent value, amazing app with all the exhibit descriptions and some you can listen to. Take headphones so you don’t have to hold your phone to your ear or disturb other visitors.

I can’t imagine looking at the exhibits without the app - but you can install it right there using the museums wifi and it doesn’t air a lot of storage space (this is completely different to the awful app & WiFi experience at other places, including even the Colosseum in Rome).

If you want to read or listen to even half the exhibit descriptions, you’ll need four hours, because there are so many exhibits. Whoever races through in two hours may just be looking at the exhibits, wondering what they’re about and moving on, because many of the instruments, machines and tools are unidentifiable to the average person without the app for exhibit descriptions.

There is a small interactive room at the end which demonstrates some of the scientific principles relevant to the exhibits, and the gift shop was uninspiring, but the museum certainly inspiring for anyone with an appreciation for proven (and disproven) science.

The museum is for non Italian speakers rather boring and badly presented (without guide). Many descriptions are only in Italian and some interactive stuff was also in Italian. As an international tourist I thought it was sad how little information was in English( about a quarter to a third was translated) . Therefore I wouldn’t recommend it to non Italian speakers.

The staff will not hesitate to sell you tickets shortly before closing and then throw you out mid-visit.
And no, it's not up to the tourist to watch the time. Have been to a lot of places where tickets are no longer sold after a certain hour or at least a warning is given, and this is how it should be done.
It’s a nice place to visit especially if you are travelling with children. Of course whatever you will see are replicas. There is an entry fee and a shop to purchase souvenirs and other stuff.
the museum is small, but it's packed with replicas of Da Vinci's famous paintings and his many inventions, most of which visitors can touch and experience firsthand. however, buying tickets in advance (as we did) does not provide you with a time slot, so it might very well happen that you get to the museum and are told you have to wait for at least an hour to enter because it's so full already. our audio guides didn't work and we didn't receive a replacement, but the signs are in multiple languages and provide detailed information. be advised that it can get very full, loud and crowded at times. most of the time, we had to wait for a massive group of raunchy teenagers to move on to the next room so we could actually look at the exhibits we had come for. I wish they would improve their coordination of visitors by requiring the choice of time slots at the point of purchase.
Centrally located, situated in a beautiful historic building, the venue offers plenty of activities to keep kids (and adults) occupied. Spread across two floors, you can easily spend minimum an hour with the choice of entertainment and activities.
The staff was attentive, knowledgeable and really friendly;
Foot stools were accessible to children to reach higher positioned interests which was bonus too.
We all had a memorable time and would like to tank the staff for their attention ⭐️

A place you must visit if you are in Padova city. Medicine history and a didáctica trip to know human body and medical instruments new and old. Here you will find a lot additional information if you do the visit to Bo Palace and Anatomic Theater, first building where the theory and medical practice did teach. We are talking about year 1222 ac.
Interesting but more for kids than adult. But seeing all the davinci invention in one place is pretty impressive.
Wonderful place to understand the mind of Da Vinci. Come play and learn all his devices too. Fun for young kids and adults too.

A decent museum, however, imo primarily oriented for kids and teens, with a variety of multimedia sources and general ideas about systems of organs, and not many actual exhibits to justify a 10€ ticket (adult). A 40-90mins to cover, depending on how much time you're willing to spend at the screens. The expanse of text goes way beyond the exhibits and feels a touch inflated. English text is available on detached A4 plaques, which I personally found disruptive for the experience.
This museum is interesting for both adults and children. Many different and super interesting objects which you can interact with. It was amazing experience!

It's not what I was expecting. For €10 I could've indulged in a large gelato and had more fun watching people at the Duomo square. I can't recommend it because I won't go again.
Da Vinci Museum is very informative, didactic and inspiring place for everyone, especially for kids.
Thanks to museum curators and administrators.
€15 per person to go in. It’s only two levels and not a whole lot to see and interact with. Kids will like it. We had a good time but it was very pricy and not much to go on.
What an incredibly wonderful museum, absolutely amazing collection. The museum has 7 main departments which have everything from televisions, telephones, telescopes, radios, Leonardo Da Vinci’s works, to trains, planes, automobiles and so much more. It’s one of the nicest science museums I’ve ever visited. It’s a great place for families and people with kids. I really enjoyed my time here and it’s definitely worth checking out.
This is an awesome place to visit, there are several amazing museums you can visit, I really enjoyed seeing all of them. They are all very educational, informative and interesting. The collections are very well preserved and displayed. It’s fairly big with lots to see and do, I really enjoyed my time here and I would definitely recommend visiting some of these lovely museums if you have the time.
Nice experience!! A place riches of many ancient stuff. The animals seem so real. Thanks also for the staff very gentle and kind
Wonderful exhibits! Would recommend! Really interesting to see all of the technology Da Vinci used in the 15th/16th century!

This museum is absolutely stunning, I didn’t think I would enjoy it nearly as much as I did. It’s extremely unique, very beautiful, its collection is absolutely amazing. It’s very well preserved and displayed. It’s very educational and informative, it’s a great place to take kids. It’s got lots to see, it’s very historical and technological. I really enjoyed my time here as did the friends I went with. I would definitely recommend visiting this museum when in Florence. I would give this museum 6/5 stars if I could.
Very nice museum, conveniently located just before the St. Peter's square, it's interesting to learn about Da Vinci's paintings and inventions, you can really appreciate his genius.
The museum itself is small, but has a lot of interesting things to see, they also give an audio pen with multiple languages with which you're able to get detailed information about each piece, there's also some chairs inside which is also good.
We only had 1 1/2 hours unfortunately, but we managed to see very much anyway. On the top floor is a section about Leonardo da Vinci, which has many models of his designs.
In other sections, there are exhibitions about space, about the earth, about the history of radio and the science behind it. There is also an outside section with a rocket and a submarine.
Additionally there is a hall full of locomotives and train carriages.
The last hall has ships and planes.
I would definitely recommend a visit if you're interested in even one of those things, as you could spend hours in every section.
Good place to explore and understand the life of famous Leonardo Da vinci. All the equipments designs are the demo models they created from his designs and we can event test most of them.
Audio guidance is very good so you can enjoy solo.
Not really a big museum person but this was fun. Maybe appeals to the engineer in me. The labs, building an arched bridge, and interacting with so many amazing machines gave me a new respect for Leonardo's work.
I visited the museum with my wife, the place is nice and explains everything about Da Vinci. The suff was very helpful. It can be a good program with kids too. I recommend.
Small exhibition about Leonardo Da Vinci's work, featuring both his inventions and his artistic creations.
If is fascinating to see how his inventions as still used in engines and mechanisms used today. The inventions are interactive so you can make them work.
The entry ticket was only 9 euros and well worth every penny of it.
Its close to the Vatican and we popped by on the way to it... we did not book in advance and did not have to wait to go it.

In my honest opinion, if you thinking to visit this museum, without kinds, not that much into science (physics, mathematics etc), this museum is not interactive at all. Lots of wonderful, sophisticated old measuring devices, however, not enough explanation, no interaction at all as it’s too old and precious to touch. I had been to interactive science museums, it’s possible and exciting! Of course they are not cheap to create and maintain, but they do teach you something incredibly new based on an experience.

In my opinion doesn’t worth the time. If you have to stare without possibility to touch or interact, better chose Uffizi, it’s really worth it as it’s just beautiful and enormous, even if not the first time.
Museo Leonardo Da Vinci Experience is a very nice museum; it has a very nice collection of artworks, machines, artifacts, drawings and more. I really enjoyed my time here, it’s a great place to take children of all ages and for families. It’s very well kept and displayed, and they have several items you can interact with. I would definitely recommend visiting this lovely museum.
This museum is a captivating blend past, present and future, making it an ideal destination for both kids and adults. This massive museum includes a rich collection of exhibits that seamlessly intertwine science and history from different perspectives. The museum's vastness allows for a day filled with exploration and discovery. Whether you're a history or science enthusiast or simply looking for a family-friendly outing, this museum offers an option for all (even for a first date).
Small, overpriced… Exposition very old… Staff nice, but no english policy
It was an interesting experience. Not one to blow your mind but definetly not a waste of time. If you're in Bologna with time to spare have a look at Palazzo Poggi
Reading other reviews very difficult to understand is it any good or no.
In my opinion it’s very good and worth your time to visit.
Of course like in any other museum something will be very boring and not interesting.
Some other parts will be breathtaking.
Others just interesting to have a look at, and others absolutely fascinating if you know history well enough.
Where is no cafe or any place to buy snacks or drinks, just vending machine. So take a sandwich and a bottle of water with you.
Very nice, well planned and marked to know were to go. Very large with alot of displays. An outside area with a submarine, rocket and airplane fighter. Some old huge locomotives and ships. It is a good place to lose yourself for a good 2-3 hours.
The museum holds a large amount of cool/interesting pieces, some of which are interactive and, unlike other museums, kept me dialed in and made me want to know more. The place is very children-friendly and has some special games for them.
However, the downside is that there is way too much stuff to see in one go, as I feel like navigating through a large variety of subjects (from history and ancient wars to recent technology and architecture) is rather overwhelming.
All in all, it was a cool place to spend a couple of hours in while visiting Milan.
Surreal experience. The museum is not big but it's filled with pictures and devices that Leonardo invented. You can even test some of them and you get an audio guide that really gives you interesting information on how some of them were made and what they were for. It's really worth visiting and I believe the kids would enjoy this experience too
Ok, this was a bit of a scam, in my opinion. Calling it a museum is a stretch, there are some of his inventions spread across 3 floors, in a tiny, roasting apartment. Charging 10€ for it is outrageous in my opinion. Most I'd pay for is 5€. Kids might enjoy more, as the "interactive" bits are simple and unimpressive. Nothing on his paintings either. I wouldn't recommend.
Not sure if the one down the road is better. But was a good rest stop between walking / exploring for the kids and interesting to learn more about Leonardo da Vinci.

Science museum, a large place with 4 exhibition floors and many internal exhibition rooms, lots of information and activities for children and youth with explanations in different languages. Very interesting. Lots of exhibits on technology and science, two and a half hours and more of touring the exhibits, Sunday was not busy. Entrance cost about 10 euros per person for youth and children cheaper.
Quasi tutto interattivo, permette di scoprire dettagli e informazioni dell' orto botanico on maniera semplice e divertente.
L'area è completamente accessibile a tutti i disabili in sedia a rotelle

Really enjoyed a ( literally!) cool afternoon in here and it was a great interactive experience. The staff were very helpful and engaged very easily with visitors. They were also very obliging and helpful in terms of taking photos of us and / or suggesting great images that may work well ( with a bit of posturing on our part!) We were probably there for about 1 & 1/2 hours - for some it may have taken an hour. Possibly more exhibits and more exhibition space would make this a worthwhile place to spend an afternoon! Also, I couldn't find any inexpensive momentoes of the museum itself to buy in the gift area - e.g bookmarks or fridge magnets.

Nice to see, three floors and big body with story. Missing English explain, there is some with paper. Entrance is 10 euros
Hot take, this museum is overwhelming. I feel like I was shown every piece of technology that EVER passed through Italy.

Seriously, there are 1800s naval ships, a space ship, a playstion, a basement dedicated to steel making, a wing on cultivating food, a piece of the moon, a jet fighter, a room dedicated to the entire Italian gas transmission pipeline network, a floor for da Vinci tech, a particle physics wing, a population growth wing, a global warming wing, an aluminum production wing, the telephone and telegraph, etc etc many more etc. The must have forgotten to add cars because it's the only tech missed.

I think it's fair to say there is too much covered in this museum because every room/wing/floor is something TOTALLY different than the last one. I appreciate the thoroughness, but you can't focus attention on 19,000 different pieces that don't relate and expect guests to constantly shift focus. You could spend a entire day here, or weeks reading and watching and playing everything. There are a couple of fun art installation pieces but it's otherwise just too much varying info. At least you get to see a ton for the price.
Awesome museum! And very cheap. It's surprising it's not better known.
Really nice well thought out. Lovely. Entrtaining and very instructional.
Quite stuffy inside, no aircon and little in english. Bird collection at the end is impressive though
I really loved the bird collection! If you are an animal enthusiast you should definitely visit!
Educational!
The staff is really gentle and polite.. if you are with family and if it is too sunny outside then it is a best place where you can get in and indulge yourself and your kids with all learn with fun things. Best place for age group from toddler to adults.

A visit to the botanical museum of Padova will help you to understand the inception of the concept of museology, which started with the collection of natural objects; plants, fossils, etc. This will further help you to understand the connection between art and science as a way of exhibiting objects.
Great museum with a collection of all sorts including anatomical waxworks, pregnancy models, fortification diagrams and ship models. Well worth a visit.
There are a few interesting museums in the one place. Pay attention and buy correct ticket for 3 expositions.
Enjoy 😉

Consigliatissimo!
Very interesting exhibition, not very big, however 17 euro entrance fees seem to be too much.

The staffs are super friendly, they will help you take some nice pictures, so don’t worry if you are alone there.

Need reservation in advance, you can also wait in queue, it takes around 20 mins to 1 hour, depending on the traffic
Brilliant for children 3+

They have stools to stand on at all stations so children can join in!

Very interactive and lots of stuff to help and answer questions as well as take photographs

Nice shop

Toilet!
It has some nice things, but overall it looks and feels like nothing has been updated since it was opened decades ago. Sad. Wish the city hall invested more money to develop it into something nicer and with more potential to educate citizens about the wonders of nature.
No fresh air, no air conditioner... In the middle of this summer inside is hot as hell. The heat made impossible to the children to enjoy the museum. A shame.
Worth the visit. A find for those interested in taking a centuries long journey (believe 6) through many of the major scientific findings in the physical world. Well laid out - helpful written descriptions but the visuals and actual devices are its strong suit; had a valuable and interesting discussion with one of the student custodians during visit; can’t promise like minded students are always assigned, but made the tour so much the better.
Great great Experience. Good Stuff to see.

Truly fascinating and especially educating if you have kids. A must stop very close to the opera. All sections were truly interesting with that of anthropology a bit more. Ticket price 5€, worths every cent. Don't miss it.
very interesting place both for children and parents. many exhibits.
It's is a small museum but has its own charm. You will find a bit of everything there as probably you would expect from a university museum. Expositions cover anatomy, medicine, zoology, botanic, war, history and more. All of this plus a nice old library makes Poggi an interesting place to visit.

There are no words to describe how amazing the MUSME - Museo di Storia della Medicina in Padova is! Wonderful experience, so much to see. Highly recommended for anyone with an interest in medicine or just a healthy curiosity about the human body and the evolution of medicine and treatment.
Superb models of precision engineering and fascinating artifacts

I visited the museum as I like to know about the human biology and the working behind it. It has a detailed history about how anatomy has developed, evolving from the four humours theory to the one we have today. The tools that the scientists used in those days plus their 'operating theatre' too. But I would want to say that the museum does lack some English translations for certain areas.
But aside from that it is a pleasure to visit the museum and check out the medical history that it houses. I would recommend it.

(Written from the perspective of a tourist) The museum was very interesting, but was not very well advertised. Some of the displays had an information card in English, but these seemed to be shorter than the information in Italian, so I feel like we missed out on a lot of information. Also, the were lots of books on display, but these had no English counterpart, so again we could not appreciate them fully. The price was a little steep, and if it was reduced slightly I imagine a lot more people would want to visit. It was extremely quiet when I visited. My partner and I practically had the place to ourselves.
