Kava Cave

Really cool place but sadly the consistency of the Kava is horrible.. Stopped in 4 times throughout a couple month's with the first being amazing! Very strong, highly impressed. Mud-like and justified the regular $22 large. Second, same bar back, more average consistency, decent feeling, this time $22 a bit high but still do-able cause it's a cool place. Third, same bar back, same regular $22 large, very watery, weak effects, horribly disappointed.. Fourth.. wasn't going back, last chance, cause it's a cool damn place.. this time, different bar back, same regular $22 large... I could almost see through it... barely tasted kava with zero effects.. not worth $5 and that's a shame. will not return...

Came here on a first date! Live music, great fellowship. Had an absolute blast. 10/10

The kratom is so unique( I’ve been to about 30-40 kava bars) , tasty and clean. Great environment games, pool lounge. The owner is awesome! He made us feel like family, even sat and played a game of risk with us we had a blast! A must visit every time I’m in Florida.

I went to Kava Cave for the first time yesterday and I loved it! Best kava and kratom I’ve ever had. Such a chill atmosphere too. They have a pool table, board games, and a switch to play games on. Owner was very kind and personable. This is a great place to hang with friends or come to meet new ones! ◡̈

I love coming to Kava Cave, especially for their karaoke/open mic events on Tuesdays and Fridays. Always a nice and chill atmosphere to play boardgames, pool, ping-pong, or just hang with friends. Very welcoming environment and the elixir drinks always hit (though sometimes the taste varies based on who makes a certain drink, they are always willing to make adjustments to the flavor/sweetness if you desire).

I am an occasional consumer and for me I think the drinks are strong enough to feel a buzz but not too intense where you feel impaired which is perfect for me. I like the grittyness of unfiltered but they also have filtered options if you prefer. I usually go for the snyder goat ale or guango (or any tropical variation with ginger ale or lemonade) and they always taste great to me.

Really fun spot w lots of activities to do, themed game nights for trivia, arts and crafts, monthly art fair and great service from the servers and hosts. Very nice pool table and lots of options when it comes to Kava. Def check it out!

The owner is personable and takes the time to explain each drink. He even offered to give me a sample of a flavor I wasn’t familiar with. Decent pricing and amazing drinks. If you’re coming to Tampa, make sure to stop in the Kava Cave!
