Absolutely enjoyed my order of cod and chips. Fish was devine and the chips a treat. Will go back again and again.
If I could leave a negative star I would. This is hands down the worst fish and chips I have ever eaten. The chips looked like they had sat there for 10 days and then been recooked.
The fish was so over battered and you could tell everything had been cooked in the same stale oil.
Not even my 3 year old who eats anything would eat it. He said it was “yucky”

I just can't get this down in Melbourne. Loved the haggis, chips, mushy peas. Will definitely revisit next time I'm on holiday there 😎 proper English chips.
You'd think the Gold Coast would be too hot for the English lads who'd enjoy some old school fish and chips.
A very disappointing and expensive meal. We have friends coming from the UK and felt we would try this venue before taking them there. Glad we did as not only would we not eat there again we would never take anyone else. The chips were atrocious soggy, inedible chips. Calamari was the packet variety already crumbed over cooked and tough. The prawn cutlets were very small and not at all inviting the cod was not bad however not something you would return to eat. The venue was ordinary if the food is good it could be overlooked not in this instance. Please do not bother if you are a seafood lover walk past this one.
Total bill $132.50 for 4 pieces of fish, family chips 2 serves of calamari and six prawn cutlets. Not one slice of lemon was included.

Food looks like it'll give you food poisoning. It's a waste of money. Chips are stale and undercooked, and the flake is sickening. Will not be coming back as they don't know how to cook.
The fish (cod) and chips were good. Chips were crispy and appear to be home-made and not frozen. The sizable bit of cod was slightly overcooked but the batter was mostly thin and crispy, but there were sections a bit stodgy. The crumbing on the calamari was thick and a bit oily.
Another day, another fish and chips! Always crispy and delish. My husband and I are so obsessed! We also can't resist ordering the calamari rings and pineapple fritters as well. 100% recommended.
