Mid afternoon pure joy to see people enjoy a stroll with their dogs, their friends & family & enjoy the water views in the cool of a shady tree.
Interesting little spot with beaches at low tide, shops cafés, restaurants and children play/picnic areas. Not forgetting the obligatory Bin Chickens. Also views over to the posh island which can be visited via a bridge.

What a great place in the world. Great walking track. Bbq's . Toilets. Kids play areas. Enclosed swimming are on the broadwater. Exercise equipment. A vast array of great restaurants and take away across the road. Sandy beaches. A great day out.
We anchored our boat here but found on weekends it's over run by jetskis and powerboats going too fast in a 6 Knott zone and the wash is unbearable and no regard for swimmers safety, just plain out rude and inconsiderate to others on the water. Needs more water police

Well appointed extensive parkland with great playgrounds for children and picnic / BBQ facilities _ all modern and well kept. Great selection of cafes and coffee shops, ice_cream shops etc. Right over the road. Wonderful place for a day out with family and friends.
