Great paved trail for walking or biking! It's cool to see/hear the trains go by!

The trail just re-opened, and they did a nice job of paving the trail. I wish they would have also trimmed back the vegetation along the trail. And they need to replace that ridiculously ugly and gross compost toilet.

Love this trail. Very easy trail but it is currently mostly closed for repairs. Should be awesome when everything is replaced and more flood resistant. Accessable trail.

Grew up going to this park the memories and peace it's brought me going here has been worth the 30 years I been coming here

We liked this trail as it is wheelchair accessible and is parallel between a happily running shallow river and a train rail. There’s a LONG train passing by @5pm on a Thursday when we were there. Park on the Lost Lake side since there’s no parking on the other end.

The Grist Mill Trail at Patapsco Valley State Park is 2.5 miles long between Ilchester Road and Lost Lake. This rail trail is the original path of the B&O Railroad between Baltimore City and Ellicott City. On the trail you can see the Swinging Bridge and Bloede's Dam.
