Great area to walk, bird watching, boat, run and bike.
Paths are wide and well maintained. Great views of the lake, and various paths from woods to open areas. Great views of the lake from many areas.
Large parking lot and street parking. Restrooms also available.
Ability to walk around entire lake but we turned around at road. Have walked entire lake before.
Good path for families. Especially great environment for bird watchers. Lots of open areas, wooded areas and lake for water birds. We saw over 40 species on our walk.

Lake Needwood is always enjoyable to walk around. Today my pup and I took a footpath off the side of the main path that was steep, lumpy, and bumpy, a rigorous hike as we needed. We knew what we were in for and it was fun. The main trail is well maintained and paved. I appreciate there are gorgeous parks with accessible trails.
