Saltgrass Steak House

We came here to celebrate my son’s BMT graduation from USAF in June of last year.
We made reservations ahead of time for outdoor seating, and it was enjoyable to see the Riverwalk while you ate. The downside to eating outdoors in the summer it’s humid. Other than that it was fine..
And we enjoyed the view.
Our server was nice and friendly, very attentive
Our steaks were all delicious and juicy no matter how each order was made to order.
I look forward to returning when visiting San Antonio, definitely a place to enjoy a good steak.

Claudia was the best server! Thank you for helping us and our group of 13, you were kind and attentive! We had a great time the new your strip, shrimp, and asparagus was so tasty! I also enjoyed a pomegranate mojito! Yum. Our server made our company meal perfect! Started with the house margarita and saw the bartender make it before our group arrived. 🤗

Overall, my experience at Saltgrass Steak House was nothing short of extraordinary, and their Ribeye Steak is a true masterpiece that I will not soon forget. Disappointing Service on Second Visit

My second experience fell short of expectations, particularly in terms of service. Despite the initial excitement, the evening was marred by lackluster attention from the staff. It felt as though our server was merely going through the motions, perhaps assuming the automatic 18% gratuity for larger parties would suffice, regardless of the quality of service rendered.

While the ambiance and food quality remained consistent, the noticeable decline in attentiveness and enthusiasm dampened the overall dining experience. It's disheartening when service doesn't match the caliber of the cuisine. Hopefully, this was just a one-off occurrence, and future visits will recapture the excellence I initially encountered.

My experience was a 7/10. Food is good and worth the value. However it gets packed. 1 hour wait time. Our server was kind and we got seated outside thinking the view of the river would be amazing but there was too many people passing by and people bumping into our table. My advice do a same day reservations and get a table inside.

Steak- perfection! Seasoned with a mix of spices that came together magically. The dessert was about the most decadent composition of delicious that I've had in a very long time. Order one and ask for 6 spoons... yes ladies and gentlemen is that large. Whichever appetizer you choose will be a winner. The fried onions were tasty and not a hint of frying oil aftertaste. The fried pickles were cooked perfectly and the jalapeño stuffed shrimp was a tasty delight as well. Well worth the money spent.
My only complaint was the poorly prepared asparagus. But dessert made up for it.

Sweet place, yummy food, a good time. The food was tasty, the staff was really nice, especially Marlene, who recommended the Watermelon Margarita which was awesome. The food was prepared fast. And the portions were good. Marlene was very nice with checking and answering allergy related questions. Would highly recommend this place!

Excellent restaurant, top notch service from our waiter TK and excellent food. All our food was served fast and hot, Cajun Ribeye is top notch along with the chicken fried chicken. Highly recommended.
