This was a magical experience, hired a scooter to get around, so needed as could not walk the vast area, beautiful well looked after animals beautiful experience
€80 euros down the drain....
Lionesses are underweight and in the tiniest enclosure. Flamingo and Otters have such little amounts of water.
Took us an hour, if that, to walk round the zoo and we left early due to the lack of experiences/facilities.
The bird Show was okay, seems a little thrown together but some birds used in the show I haven't seen in other shows visited (Majorca, Canary Islands etc).
The amphibian/reptile area is well put together, the rest of the zoo is a bit of a mess.
The good reviews for the zoo seem to be from people who are staying in the hotel next to the zoo, however if you are coming from another area I honestly wouldn't bother.
How this zoo charges more than some of the elite zoos out there like Chester zoo is beyond me. If it was €15-20 I'd say yes good zoo. Shame.
