In a word: Sketch. This is the best Staples in MoCo. This is not a particularly nice place, lots of litter, dingy store fronts BUT many options for restaurants and an arcade.
I tried the barber shop once. They didn't sweep the hair up from the previous customer, the sheets were visibly dirty and the ceiling was about to cave in from water damage. It was a laundry list of health code violations.

It's a pretty handy shopping center. From fast food to international grocery.
Cute little place. A true blast from my past. Has everything you need. I love that they have not done renovations. My spot
Glenmont shopping center has changed since 20 years ago. It's still a great spot to shop coming from the metro station. They literally have all your needs for food & toiletries. Staples, cvs, Western Union, vape & Latino markets. Not many boutiques for pampering, you will have to drive out to Plaza del Mercado or drive down to the wheaton area.
Terrible! I’m forced to maneuver around 18 wheelers, terrible drivers, and potholes so I can go to CVS and be harassed by the unhoused. If I happen to go the CVS pharmacy I have a 50% chance of being greeted by a knowledgeable employee or a kid with airpods in his ears. If I want beer, I have to walk past the bums and the scourge of MoCo. MoCo schools said they will work on the truancy problem, but it seems that the administrators may have been truant in attending those strategy sessions. It’s a march to McDonald’s at lunch time. And don’t get me started on Leidl and the unpleasant employees that act like you’re the problem.
