Public Institute of Krka National Park

It is one of the most beautiful natural parks not only in Europe but all earth, very organized and well arranged to have a very lovely unforgotten adventure .

Natur pur, wenn man nicht zur Hauptsaison eintrifft.

This is meant to be a tourism office for the park; I arrived 15minutes before the closing time and the lady told me to get out; that was the first thing she said to me; with no apology. Didn’t answer any questions and told me to come back another day.
The tourism office for Sibenik on the other hand was extremely helpful and they gave me all the information I needed for Krka.

Wir sind an einem Freitag im September um ca 9.30 Uhr mit dem PKW zu einem gratis Parkplatz oberhalb der Wasserfälle gefahren. Von dort sind wir dem Wanderschild gefolgt .Dies ist geeignet, wenn man gut zu Fuß ist. Es geht ca 900 m steil runter. Man kann stattdessen sehr gut den Bus nutzen, der ist im Ticket inbegriffen. Am Fluss führt dann ein Holzsteg idyllisch einmal rum. An der schönsten Stelle unterhalb der Wasserfälle landen Ausflugsboote und die Touristen verstopfen leider die einzige Brücke rüber. Anstehen für ein Foto! Seit Januar 21 darf man dort nicht mehr baden.
Schade. Man sollte weniger Menschen in den Krka NP lassen, dann wäre es sehr schön. Immerhin gilt das Ticket für alle Eingänge an diesem Tag..man kann also rum fahren und an verschiedenen Stellen reinschnuppern. Das kann ich sehr empfehlen.

Lady behind the desk was useless. I needed some basic information about the park and transport and basically I was told to ask somewhere else. What is the point of this office?
