Nice park to walk around with a community garden and patriotic benches. Don’t forget the fishing is good too!
Nice little walk around the quarry. Paved path. A dock where people fish. Two playgrounds. Nothing fancy but great for spending some time outside with family or for exercise. Sometimes the seagulls come around and you can feed them.
A great park to walk. Usually pretty tidy, with a nice, active playground for kids. Nice fields for baseball, softball, soccer, etc. Wildlife around the pond is lovely in the cooler months. DNR also stocks the pond with rainbow trout, but I can’t comment on be fishing here, although the pier is very nice. However, there is no longer mini golf despite what the description says, and hasn’t been in years.
The quarry as it's locally known, is and always has been a great place to enjoy the outdoors. I'm came here as a kid and now I enjoy coming with my own kids.
0n 4/25 an older white lady drive her car into the park near where I was walking my dog and dumped a load of trash....she lives at 1941 denbury .watch out yall.pics.of her car posted in photos..Nice atmosphere and trail around water.walk my dog alot here...
This park is so beautiful to stroll through. The wildlife makes for an interesting view and the walking trails are truly relaxing. I come here to get a little exercise. I walk four times around the trails.
A reverent piece of the beloved Chesapeake Bay. A peninsula park. Often locals are seen picking up trash in the park and trying to keep thier piece of the bay clean. wildlife is present ( ducks , geese , rabbits , bald eagles , hawks , Fox and the like .
