Great bookstore. We visited after going to the MIT museum. Nice variety of books and a section of books authored by MIT professors. There is a large section of books published by MIT Press called "Essential Knowledge Series" on a wide variety of important topics. Cozy kids section with lots of books.
This bookstore focuses books published by MIT press and curated titles. It’s a “smart people bookstore,” with books that make you think and learn. The shop is down in a basement and I got lost in reading the backs of books, time marked only by the overhead rumble of the red line. The books here are niche enough that there are only occasionally copies at the local libraries, so I do end up spending money here rather than getting it at the library. There’s also a kids book section that has some excellent variety: I can do all my holiday shopping between this bookstore and the MIT Museum gift shop upstairs.
Great experience. We were able to get some amazing books for our library in Jamaica at Western STEM Academy. Thank you for having us.
Nice store with MIT Press and a thoughtful selection of other books. Very nice architecture section. Kids room seems very good too. Thinner on philosophy than older versions of this store, though and I'd like to see more bargains. In very nice new(ish) location right at the Kendall T.
Nice bookstore just opp google building. It was too cool 1 degree and decided to go inside the bookstore to sit and warm up before continue our journey. Boston is a nice city. And also best toilet. Super clean and smell good.
One of the best logos in the book business, along with a great selection of reading material. Their location is great, and the store is modern! I couldn’t be happier with a bookstore!
Public restroom at first floor. Be polite. Great books but expensive.
