The Indian Naval Aviation Museum in Goa was quite good. But it would have been much better if there was a guide or someone to explain about the things on display like aeroplanes, helicopters, missiles etc. rather than just having to read about them.

Super place to see our nation's naval capabilities. Great to seep into its history and various achievements.

Kids will love to see the actual aircrafts helicopters, missiles etc.

Deducting 1 star for a very poor souvenir shop. With nothing much except for a few tshirts keychains and mugs. If there were die cast replicas of our nation's aircrafts ans helicopters both adults and kids would lap it up.

Also a printed booklet of information and history would be a great thing to bring back.

This is great place to see different types of Naval Aircrafts. The Museum is air conditioned & showcasing lot of information. If you traveling with Family, specifically with kids; it’s must visit place in Goa. They charged minimal amount per person & they have good vehicle parking space. The Museum closed every Monday.

Had a wonderful guided tour of the Museum by a Naval legend Admiral Phillipose himself. Museum is very well organised, superbly designed with excellent information for all ages. Can be enjoyed and inspirational for young children to elderly. Very good experience overall

The Indian Naval Aviation Museum is a unique attraction in Goa that showcases the history and achievements of the Indian Naval Air Arm. The museum is located near the Dabolim Airport, and is easily accessible by road or public transport. The museum has two main sections: an outdoor exhibit and a two-storey indoor gallery.

The outdoor exhibit displays 13 decommissioned aircraft that have served in the Indian Navy, such as the Breguet Alizé, the BAe Sea Harrier, the de Havilland Vampire, and the Kamov Ka-25. The aircraft are well-maintained and some of them can be entered by visitors. The outdoor exhibit also features various aircraft engines and armaments, such as bombs, torpedoes, and cannons.

The indoor gallery has several rooms that depict different aspects of the naval aviation, such as the uniforms, the insignia, the awards, and the operations. The gallery also has models of the aircraft carriers INS Vikrant and INS Viraat, which are the pride of the Indian Navy. The gallery has interactive exhibits, such as a flight simulator, a cockpit mock-up, and a photo booth.

The museum is a must-visit for aviation enthusiasts, history buffs, and patriotic citizens. The museum is open from 10 am to 5 pm on all days except Mondays. The entry fee is Rs. 40 for adults and Rs. 20 for children. The museum also has a souvenir shop and a cafeteria.

My Google Map review for the Indian Naval Aviation Museum is:
