We stayed at the property to celebrate my bday night and the kind of hospitality we received was beyond amazing. It was a wonderful stay and each corner of the property has a beautiful story. We were very humbled to meet and dine with Fatima Figueiredo. She welcomed us into her home with joy and kindness. I would definitely recommend to visit/stay at the property as it is one of the hidden gems of Goa!

A magical homestay in the heart of Goa
A regal mansion with a regal owner, very hospitable.

The food is an ode to bygone home recipes.
Lunch, dinner and high tea's are a sheer delight to the senses in the formal dining room.

Highly recommended if vintage etiquette intrigues you.
Goan heritage at its finest ❣️
Kudos

Excellent stay at the Mansion - large room with high ceiling, well-kept swimming pool, beautiful house and furniture, friendly and helpful staff, and a privilege to meet and talk to the family. Good food in an elegant dining room - felt like an honoured house-guest.

A well maintained property. They give you a guided tour of the mansion. Old furnitures and things used by the people then are displayed.
There are rooms available for stay also
Many film shooting is done here.
It's a little far from the city.

Great place. I love everything about this place. Most importantly I love Maria Fatima, to renovate such a huge house is truly legendary. I am huge fan of her.

Rooms are beautiful, it is quiet place. Everyone is very helpful.

It was a good experience to see the rich culture however they could have reduced ticket prices as Rs.300 per person is too much for this. Also it would have been nice if the ticket price included some tea coffee juice or anything.

The place is beautiful, no question, so much history, atmosphere is unbelievable, everything preserved great ,BUT the way people interact with visitors is not professional, it feels like we are owning them something and they are giving us great honor just to reply, pushing people to go faster, that they want tour end as soon as possible and to get payment.

For historical purposes, it is still worthy to go, but staying not really.
