They charge you 200/- per person and show you nothing worth 200/-.

No processing, no plantation with fruits. Only a few coffee plants with coffee on them.

I have never been to a place worse than this.

Please don't buy any spices from this store. If you want to believe me, then take a picture of the prices of two to three products here and compare it with either HopComs or a store opposite to Ainmaney in Shanti Nagar Mall, Madikeri. You will know how double the price it is. We bought 100 gms of Brahmi powder on the 23 Sept 2023 for 180 Rupees. And the same was sold for 90 rupees in shantinagar mall shop opp to Ainmaney. Spices Garden's
are just good at marketing. They basically loot you and try to sell all their products for an expensive price. Even the coffee plantation tour was not of any worth as the guide himself was just talking what he knows, and his face turned pale yellow when we asked him a few generic questions. So yes, if your local auto guide tricks you by taking to this place, make sure you tell him no and go ahead with your own Iteinary.

Opted for a Plantation tour as Auto drive took us here instead of place we have requested may be to location proximity or could be other reason. Staff is very humble but they do not have plantation with varieties which is disappointing. Coffee & Wine demo was good. They should also have to provide shoe that can prevent from leech bite. IMO .. is not worth price

I went along with my family and friends. We stayed in the Orange Bohemian style villa with a private pool. It's a huge place and it has many staying options like tents and containers also.
The owners Danish and Shagufta are very helpful and
They look after their needs of the guests very minutely.
The restaurant in the evening with the lights and the music gives you a feel of being in a secluded Goa shack.
We tried a lot of dishes on the menu and the taste was quite nice.
We were also told that in case we want to eat anything which is not in the menu, we could tell them in advance and they would arrange for it.
The place is also pet friendly.
What I loved about the place was the personal touch and the way we were taken care of.
I would definitely recommend a family or a group of friends to visit this place.

It’s a great place to chill. The resort manager Ebin is very helpful and accommodating. Amazing views of tea plantation around the resort.
Swimming pool was dirty. I did not feel like swimming in it. Need to maintain it.

Excellent service, I highly recommend this for families who are planning to stay in Wayanad. There is ample parking space which is really safe and secured. I also had a really great experience with the food in the resort. I also had wonderful support from the host Varghese Chettan. I highly recommend this place.

I had my stay at Ripon Bunglow in Aug2023. I had a smooth booking process by calling-in directly to the property manager. I was advised how to drive to the location, with suggestions on good dining restaurants on the way. The property manager is always available on phone to guide you en-route in case needed.

The property itself brings wow to your face when landing your car in the front yard. Its a 1930 bunglow built by the british and standing royally in the midst of a scenic greenery and the beauty of the hills&valleys all around you. (Some pics attached)

I enjoyed exploring the bunglow, the architecture, the nature around, and could think back a 100 years on how life of an english man was influenced by our great land and its beauty. Feel free to ask about the building its construction the heating/cooling shafts under the floor etc. to the always friendly and service focussed property manager. You can enjoy a fireplace basking in your bedroom during winter days if requested.

The service offered where really worth appreciating including the food and the individual attention to services from the property manager. The food was really great to mention for the dinner and breakfast.

Only sad part about the bunglow was to know that previous owners have tarnished the originality of the main building which if could have been brought back to glory would stand for times ahead in anyone's mind, visiting this place.

A busy property so please book in advance. You still always have a piece of your privacy in bedroom, courtyard, open balconies shuttle court or around the property. Would love to come back.

900Kandi, Soochipara and kanthanpara are a must visit short drives from here.

My cousins and 2YO puppy had a fabulous time at Lakeside Boheme Inn. Shagufta and her team are warm and attentive. The place is green , rustic and right next to lakes and waterfalls - a treat in this season. Activities like trekking, kayaking added to the charm. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Lovely place for a weekend break close to nature.

What an amazing weekend spent at this place! There’s an entire bohemian feel as their name says, there’s beautiful raw rustic nature, there’s a huge space as if you’re living inside a jungle, there are well equipped, clean and pretty rooms and there’s really delicious homely food!

We were a huge group and we enjoyed activities like treasure hunt, cycling, swimming in the clean lake and enjoying their private waterfall.

It was such a refreshing stay with Jacuzzis right outside our villa to relax the next morning after an adventurous glamping experience on day one.

This place is perfect for a weekend adventure as well as a great relaxing experience.. it’s the best way to rejuvenate!!

It was nice seeing the plantation with plants such as coffee, cocoa, vanilla, spices etc. They have many wines and chocolates to taste. The price is also reasonable.

Do not go too late in the evening.

One of the most amazing places for a quick weekend getaway with friends or even family. Nestled in the lap of nature with lakes, waterfalls and farms in the property, you could spend all your time enjoying nature, immersing yourself in water activities and forgetting your average city life. Evenings are lovely with live music and a completely Bohemian vibe! Food was amazing as well. And last but not the least, amazing hosts - Shagufta and Danish- who really go out of their way to make you comfortable!

The best possible quality of rooms, service, view, food and hospitality! The hosts were extremely kind and accommodated every need we had. They prepared and served us delicious authentic food with a homely touch. I wish there were places like this all over the country!! The view is breathtaking- we spent hours just sitting by the porch and enjoying the beauty of the clouds and mountains. Loved it!😄

Staying at this place is delightful, host family made sure everything was comfortable for us. Rooms, service and breathtaking views from the room are better than any other resort I have been to. You don’t have to go anywhere to eat good food as they serve amazing lovely homemade food. Definitely worth the visit ❤️

The view of the mountains from the tent was spectacular

The natural trail walk followed by lots of trees around the property really mesmerized my family.

The staff was courteous and always ready to help. The food was great, need to improve on options

Overall I would definitely recommend this place for a weekend of fun and relaxation and will want to return during the monsoon to see it in all its glory.

Exquisite views from the cottage, tastefully done rooms, sumptuous vegetarian food and the most amazing hosts. Most awesome vacation.

No amount of words can describe how great the food is. We kept devouring and more and more kept coming. Was so very tasty and healthy. Even after over-eating, the stomach didn’t complain one bit. Felt light throughout the day. It was hard to pick a favourite. Native Kerala dishes were great especially a sweet made from a locally grown variety of banana.

One can spend the day in the cottage itself. If you want to visit places, then Mr. Bala will be quick to make you a list of places that will be of interest to you.

Whatever you do, make sure you come back around mealtime. Trust me, you do not want to miss a single meal here.

Surrounded by lush greenery which is exactly what you need if you want to escape Mumbai.
During the monsoons it's a must visit... the rains gives it a heavenly weather, with waterfalls to enjoy. All the rooms were beautifully made. Clean, comfortable and very esthetic. Food is great too - they cater to all your needs and requests. Great staff. You can't ask for more for the perfect short getaway! Loved it.

We went for a coffee plantation tour here. The tour was good and the coffee they served was also nice. Very refreshing.. atmosphere is also good.
But their product store prices are way too expensive and they fooled us with their products as the products kept in store were old and adulterated while the products they gave us to try were fresh. Even for wine bottles, the same wine bottles you'll easily get anywhere in the city, with better price and quality. In this store, each article was priced extra 300 with below average quality. So if you want to visit here, take the tour only. DO NOY BUY PRODUCTS FROM THEIR STORE. All products are old stock and pricey.

Nice cozy place. If you leave the windows open in the evening with the room lights on..you get a hoard of insects

It's really a great place to visit in coorg where we get a lot of insight regarding the coffee plantation and the process involved from harvesting to ready to ship. Best to visit during evening time and it takes 1hr to complete the tour of coffee plantation with the guide.

I and my husband happen to visit Tea tours Rippon Heritage Building last week. We really had amazing experience. The rooms were so big, nice and comfortable and the bungalow is well maintained and also very neat. we liked the Scenic view from the bungalow. We felt we were so close to nature. We would like to Thank Mr. Ebin for his kindness and Hospitality. we also enjoyed the yummy food and food quality was really good. All the staff also were very friendly and no words for their care and hospitality. The good thing about this property is its also very budget friendly. We really had a peaceful time and enjoyed well. Wish to visit again with family. We would like to recommend everyone to go there and experience a good time.

We visited this property as a group of 3 in June 2023 and had an amazing stay. The property was well maintained and the location is just amazing. located among lush tea estates, the property is easily accessible and the serene surroundings just make the stay even more perfect. The rooms were clean and spacious. the property itself had multiple indoor and outdoor game provisions- and most sightseeing places are easily accessible from here. Special mention to the staff, specially Mr. Ebin for being extremely kind, hospitable, helpful and accommodating. The food was amazing and overall a perfect stay, with reasonable prices and super helpful staff.

Excellent service really and food also provided with quality. But night time out side rooms I mean balcony they should allow to spend for chit chat. We are bachelors and we need to spend there but they restricted in the night. Except this everything is cool.

I would start by sharing that this was the first time in my life that we extended our holiday!!
I stayed at Namaha with family & friends for 4 days. There are no words to describe the feeling that I had staying there, so much warmth in the hospitality and love in the food!!
The property is located at a very serene place where you see clouds, hear the chirping of birds that makes you feel wow!! And then uncle is so welcoming, you would feel at home the moment you meet them.
Also, I am very particular about the food, but this place had the most amazing + healthy food. Aunty served new dishes everytime, and the taste was out of this world!! I have fallen in love with her cooking..
the overall experience made me feel so calm and happy within.

Entry fee is very high rs 200/- not worth it. Do not buy coffee from here. They gave us to drink coffee and we bought the exact same one from their shop. After making it in home it taste like just mix of spices. No smell of coffee and colour is also brown and not black which they served there.

Everything was so perfect and amazing that one would not like to go out of this property and the food served here is so addictive and delicious that you will love every bit of it. Bala uncle and Aunty pour their love in everything they serve and prepare for their guests. This stay is more than what you expect and totally justifies that Guest is God for the hosts . We have already started missing this place , the view , the food and the lovely hosts. Also to add , they celebrated my husband’s birthday with a surprise cake as a gesture. We had an overall best experience in everything here :)

It's basically a farm & they sell their own products too... U get a full detailed tour of the plantation (types of plants grown, seasonal crops & their benefits) followed by their processing of coffee beans to make varieties of coffee for Rs.200/person. Their store is ideal for buying authentic Coorg grown spices, coffee & chocolates along with other herbal products.

We had an excellent stay at Namaha. We were here for 2 nights with family (1 year old too), hospitality was excellent.

Place is run by a family, they treat you like family. They took great care of us. Not to mention, this is the best authentic Kerala food we had. Aunty is great with her cooking skills.

Looking forward to our visit again.

Greenview homestay was very wonderful place.There is an amazing view of forest behind the homestay.We enjoyed swimming in the swimming pool and the breakfast was too delicious. Beautiful place and easy to reach. The ambience was amazing and well maintained. The staff was very helpful specially Shivam. We loved the location and the food. It looks prettier in the evening. We did not choose the tents but they are nice with AC and Wash. One of the villa has a pool and other has a big jacuzzi. Special thank you to the owner for hosting us .

When we reached there ..made us wait for 20 min before openi the door
Bathroom not flushed..sink full of air..used bedsheet…no A/C…no Television connection…floor sticky..not cleaned…bathroom could not be locked…
No complementary breakfast as promised…
When complained owner changed his tone…not ready to address complaints..at night not even picking up the call…

You can experience good Kerala homely vegetarian food. Away from the crowds and noises of city, it's an ideal place to sit back and be lazy, enjoy a good vacation.

Great ambience! A perfect place to unwind🌿. The place is perfect for stay with family or friends. The staff was quite helpful and professional and the whole place is well maintained. There's a lot of space inside the resort to walk around. Loved the interior of the room which we stayed. Everything was taken care of.

I have stayed with Family in Ripon heritage Bungalow last week , nice weather in this hot summer too. We were very lucky to experience a nice rainy weather. Nice ambience as the property is located in a Tea Estate . Morning vibe is awesome here.

Beautiful place. Magnificent view point just a walk away. But the road is very narrow and includes off-road path. However a 17 seater force traveller can reach there with an expert driver.

Pros: Secluded and quiet area.

Cons: There were literally 12 cockroaches in our room and 1 spider on our bed. The lights are so dim in the room that you cannot even see the face of your partner properly. It becomes very difficult to unpack and find things in your luggage. Very compact rooms, with little movable space. The tap in the bathroom keeps dripping and there are holes in the bathroom wall from which what comes out, you don't want to know. The bedsheets were torn and smelly and stained. When we asked for cutlery, they had none, so we had to eat noodles with our hands. The location of the hotel is inaccessible and if you have brought your own car, please please don't go if you have even a little bit affection for your car because the road is so narrow that barely your car can pass through (we have Nexon). The bulbs were broken and lizards were roaming freely. If you couldn't get shortlisted for khatron and khiladi and you've always dreamt of sleeping with the spiders and cockroaches, then you can book this place. Not worth 8k that we paid for two villas. Headsup: It's not a villa, just two very compact cottages in very limited spacing. Also, they don't have car parking. It is a bike parking but they told us on phone that it is a car parking. If you book this place even after reading my review then it's on you.

Rooms are spacious with a hall, and bedroom. Rooms were neat and clean. Hospitality is good.Free wifi is available. Viewpoint is available near the place which offers a beautiful view of forest and falls. Good place to stay amidst nature. The route that leads to this place is tricky as the map stops after a certain point and need to contact owners to get the exact route.

It was worst experience with Mr. Amith. He took advance booking amount and after reaching to property we came to know he posted nearby resorts photo and his property work was in progress. We were total 14 people with kids and senior citizen hence could not stay there as his property was very horrible. After contacting him he neither refund advance nor arrange proper stay. He is totally fraud person. I have all proofs against him so please be careful.

The location was adventurous, the room service guy was really great. But the rooms had shortage of fans and a hell a lot of bugs in it. No mosquito coil provided.

Never choose this hotel and we got a very bad experience from all employees. We booked ac double bed room and while we check in ac is not working and bathroom pipes are leaking. While we complaint they argue with us.Never book rooms here and never secure you and your family there.

Far from City

The place is not worth it. The resort isn't clean. The bathrooms were very dirty. I think the resort keeper isn't even sanitizing the rooms even after a client leaves. Its 2020 and its corona time. They should clean it. You've got AC but it doesn't work. Taps are in very bad condition. The floors feel like they'll collapse at any moment. Worst resort I've ever been to.

If you are planning for a stay @ Waynad with family or friends this is an AMAZING place. The location is so serene and apt for those looking to relax, have a peaceful weekend, spend time in the lap of nature. This property is Surround by Tea estate, lush green scenery. I would strongly recommend Shivasthalam Serene it has all the facilities more than you expect from a home stay.

It’s the kind of place you wish you owned. On the slopes on Mupainad surrounded by tea estate, yet away from the crowd, Shivasthalam House is perfect for if you’re keen to explore Wayanad. Staff so well trained to take care of guests, from making your beds to cooking excellent dinner, always making you feel comfortable. The rooms are nicely done up. Overall an amazing experience .

Home stay.

Prashob, the host is fine gentleman. I had to cancel the trip due to an emergency and he didn't charge a single penny as a cancelation charge. Would encourage everyone to visit the property.
