Little Bennett Campground Store

I was told there would be no problem having enough wifi to get TV smart channels. Turned out, we occasionally could get wifi on our cell phones outside the camper, not inside. Very disappointing. Also there was a large dead tree right by the fire ring that could easily drop a branch at any time.

Loved the many trails they had for hiking. And all the activities they have during each day. I enjoyed the game room. We loved making hamburgers and hot dogs over the camfire.

Great camp ground. Staff is wonderful and the whole place was clean.

The camp ground has something for everyone, love the camp store the bathrooms are very clean the trails are nice and we feel very safe while we are there.

Very well maintained local county park. Many activities and programs for kids. There are only 20 RV sites. Surprisingly which have full hookups. 💩They are pricey for a county park, and very difficult to get. 😬During my stay I noticed five sites had campers parked on them but nobody was there the entire week.🤔 So people are getting sites and somehow paying for a month 🤑and then just showing up on weekends? Don't try calling on Friday or Saturday because they're too busy to answer the phone! 🙉They close the reservations down 🤷🏻‍♂️😯
They also have yurts and beautiful cabins but very few of each.

There are some wonderful hiking trails.🥾 Apparently 25 mi but much of that is overlapped. Very well maintained. Easy walking for anybody.

Very nice laundry room featuring commercial washers and dryers. Reasonably priced and large capacity.

Outstanding camp store.🤩 They have everything you could ever want in that little place. Many supplies In case you forgot something.

Good tent sites. Reasonable fees. Clean bath house with quick hot water. Lots of downed wood to gather for fire. Good table, a lantern post and the fire ring was a bonus with a flip over grill. Tent site was a blue stone pad. Perfect car camping property. Laundry room was tidy and convenient . Awesome for community- lots of activities( My site was over grown with Kudzo. Said Kudzo may or may not still there. )

They have everything you need here from camp chairs to games to food. We bought a T-shirt. If you forget anything, rest assured they are very well stocked. The women running the store are super friendly and suggested some hiking trails to us. They even led a "bigfoot hunt" one evening since there has been a reported sighting at the campground years ago. We didn't see the big guy, lol, but it was very entertaining and fun.
