Thank u 4 reaching out to susan im more calm knowing she received our concern but let me know if there would be any funds i need to look for my wealfare of status were would i live i defendly would have to but everything in a storage unit to go to a shelter till i cant find somewhere where i can live and afford i get only 1 check a month ssi am disabled so i have to stretch my money to survive i know we been thru alot economy crash went covid destroyed everyones financial and emotinal has affectef everyone especiallys the poor people have no housing no section 8 so please just let me know please how were doing let me know if the fund was gratent god bless u all i really appriciate all this years this company and ur kind hearts have helped me over the years god its good have a merry christmas to u all

It was my first experience going through this whole process of housing. Most of the people that I shared my housing problem with, they were very helpful. Miss "Ana" was one of them, she was very patient during my conversation with her.
Thank you to everyone who still has a sense of humanity and doing his job in a perfect way.

The HRC is a vital program to stop homelessness. Ana Ohiwerei and her staff are very knowledgeable and do their best to help find a solution to your problem.

The HCHRC was very kind and helpful in counseling me on my housing situation. They provided important information and made wonderful suggestions to assist me. Thank you!

Ana Vilela Ohiwerei is the Program Director of this terribly managed "Cornerstone" program. Four months of rent (Oct, Nov, Dec, 2019 & Jan 2020) were not paid until the end of January 2020, and with no late fees. This creates a stressful situation for both the landlord and tenant! As of June 22nd, June rent was also not received. Shameful! I wrote to the HRC on June 8th and Ana Vilela Ohiwerei replied, "Our check...was lost..." When was she going to notify me? Where is the check now? I guess she's too busy to do her job. Shame on this program and their ineffective program director. I have contacted Carmen Gandulla, Director of Community Development for assistance and will update this post soon. Do NOT participate in this program!!
