Tunnel of Trees

No pets, no skates, no skateboards. It would be nice if the parks actually put the rules on their listings because we detoured to this park as we were driving through Wichita because it looked amazing. We got here only to find that you can't have your dogs on leash through the tunnel of trees so it was a wasted trip. I could see stiff off leash penalties but they should be allowed on leash.

So peaceful place to visit

My boyfriend and I ran into the Tunnel of Trees as we were walking on the trail and thought it was so dope! I will admit, I definitely climbed a tree and we went off trail and adventured around a little bit. It’s cute! I also really appreciate how the City of Wichita makes mini trails to lead back to main trails in case someone were to get lost. It definitely helped us!

Great spot for wedding photos. Osage Orange trees make it up. Scary in the fall but shiny green in the spring and summer

Love this place so much. I’ve taken so many pics here (on my Insta) it’s a great place to walk/ take photos during the day and/or at night.
When walking and taking photos, please be respectful of the place, the trees are old and they are not meant to be hung from or pulled on.

Great place to take a walk. There are lots of trails to choose from. Heads up no dogs allowed on this particular trail area.
