There are bathrooms here 🚻 and it’s a good place to take a walk.

I overshot my intended destination on my old mountain bike by about 20 blocks yesterday: Trinity Cemetery. It was Halloween. Rather than turn back on the Hudson River Greenway/Empire State Trail, I decided to cross the pedestrian bridge here. Hoisted my heavy, ancient bike up on my shoulder and hoofed it up the stairs and across. As I got to the other side and walked the short trail back to 9A I was struck by how beautiful the woods are and how easily, 150 years ago, this was considered the country. Golden and orange leaves littered the trail, but enough green leaves remained that it still felt wooded, despite hearing the highway a hundred or so yards down the trail. Part of why I'm leaving this review is to remind myself that it is always a good idea to look closely at the map before departing home and also, possibly, to bring up the map on the phone right before doing it. I really had no memory how much of a spaghetti junction awaited. 9A meets up with a bunch of ramps on and off the Henry Hudson and off onto local streets. There are two crosswalks one has to cross if a pedestrian or walking or riding a bike, sometimes long given the amount of traffic. Keep in mind.

Beautiful area for a park, what do u expect, in nyc there will never be a clean park bathroom! Enjoy the fact that there is one period! Haha
