The Italian Shot Maxvorstadt

One of the best pizzas, if not the best I have tried in Munich. The atmosphere is amazing, the staff is very friendly and the tiramisu is from another world! Can’t wait to be back!

We were a group of 5, only 1 person liked the food, unfortunately. Starters were better than the pizzas (one came burnt) and pastas.
However it has a beautiful environment despite the extremely hot temperature. Also good service.
In summary, too expensive for the food.

Terrible! Don’t even bother coming here. We had an awful experience. Our food took over 1 hour to arrive! We told our waiter that either the food came in 5 minutes or please brought us the check, his response was to tell us that he didn’t care since he wouldn’t be here anyways (his shift was over!). When our food finally arrived (after 1.5 hours) the pasta was UNCOOKED, our waitress was really nice and even offered us something on the house, but honestly when you have been waiting for so long you just want to leave. The place was in total caos, they don’t have enough personnel to serve the customers, nonetheless, what really bothered us was that all this time the owner of the place was sitting outside with his friends talking and laughing while all the customers were waiting for their food, and he never even once came to apologize for the terrible experience.

I ordered Sicilian Shepherd pizza. I received a a German menu (I spoke in English to the girl who served me) so I couldn’t understand what is Ziegenkase in the pizza!It was a horrible cheese. Never ate a pizza with goat cheese.
I paid the pizza (15€) but I didn’t eat it. Please to give an English menu to the non German customers!
1 star because I left hungry.

Great Italian - visited with a small group and really enjoyed the meal. Excellent pizza and pasta; I didn’t try the cocktails, but the menu looked inventive and I’d return to sample them! The pistachio pesto pasta was a standout, and service was prompt and friendly. It does get busy so booking is highly advised.

Perfect pizza, great truffle pasta, mediocre tiramisu, balanced espresso. Good friendly attentive service.

Update from a 5 star to 3:
Been here for the second time and the pizza dough was young and was lacking the airiness; also it needed another minute in the oven. Too soft, too white. See the last picture.

Sorry guys, consistency is the key.

A very special authentic Italian restaurant. It only offers lasagnas and pizzas and they taste fresh Italian! Super chill and cozy, the staff was extremely professional, passionate and nice. A perfect spot to go out as a couple! Reservation is a must evening time, definitely worth a shot with a wonderful experience!
