Taste better than it looks but worse than it cost.
Place: a roadside stall that sells nasi lemak with a variety of sides such as ayam masak merah, fried chicken, sambal kerang, sambal paru, rendang daging and ayam.
Service: first time here, and upon stepping within the vicinity of the stall, I was immediately greeted warmly and asked for food and drink orders. Perhaps previous individuals here who had bad experiences were on their day off.
Food:
1. Nasi lemak with ayam masak merah and rendang daging: the food here is VERY Kelantanese style, and when I say this it means that most of their food is on the sweet side. If you're not used to this type of food, or dislike sweet based curry, don't even try it. But I personally like this as it's a very hearty food that hits home close to my heart. Loved it! Not spicy too, kids can eat this. (Spicy level: 1.5/10, 10 being hot peri-peri sauce)Especially the ayam masak merah. The daging rendang could have a better cut, but taste wise was spot on. The nasi lemak alone is RM3, as cheap as it gets. Points to improve: its in dire need of crunchy IKAN BILIS!!! & it could do better with a choice of fried eggs or hard boiled eggs (but this os optional). Verdict: 4.85/5.

Please ignore the environment, other then that everything is awesome, one of my favorite food in JB, the rendang chicken is 'must try', if you love wet rice, remember to ask for nasi banjil.

One of my favorite place to have nasi lemak kukus. Got variety add on dish such as sambal kerang, sambal paru , rendang ayam, rendang daging, rendang sotong, ayam masak merah, ayam goreng, and telur goreng. Very basic drink menu. For those have diabetes are not encourage to eat there. Almost all the add on dish taste very very sweet. Due to the reason I reduce my frequency to eat there.
Very pricey n gravy sweet. L9cated along road side stall. Not much varieties or veggy available.
