Tortilleria Mexa Berlin

Best tacos we had for years! We are so lucky to visit. You must go! I wish them the best, everybody is so friendly and helpful! So fresh and tasty… Everything was perfect!

Probably the most authentic & tasty taco joint I’ve been to in Berlin. Just a few things on the menu, but all perfectly done. Pricey, but more bang for your buck than most other taco places in Berlin.

Netter kleiner Mexikaner! Als Toppings stehen leider aktuell nur 3 Sorten zur Verfügung, die Nopales haben mir davon am besten geschmeckt. Der Käse in den Quesadillas hätte noch etwas intensiver sein können (Queso Oaxaca z.B.) und beim Aqua Fresqua Horchata bräuchte es keinen Sirup und auch weniger Eis fände ich besser! Trotzdem war ich glücklich mit dem Essen und war danach satt, mein Mund brannte angenehm. Alles zusammen hat 17€ gemacht (02/24). Die mexikanische Musik und die bunte Verzierung sind nett und lassen das triste Berlin draußen, aber noch fehlt mir das echt Persönliche, es wirkt noch sehr "neu" und zusammengeschustert, dabei gibt es das Restaurant schon länger!

Great and authentic Mexican food. The atmosphere reminded me of some restaurants in Mexico.

The salsa is delicious. You can also get nice vegan tacos.

We had some tacos and quesadillas here the other day. Is a nice small place that gets you close to the real Mexican experience. The food was not bad but the tortillas were way too hard (which is ironic as the whole first page talks about you having to eat fast that they do not get hard, and I literally started to eat the second I go them, so that was not the problem). Will probably be back again and check out if that is a constant or just a one time thing.
[Answer: Uh yes, I guess in this case they were to roasted for my taste ;-) Really love the Mexican street taco style, with the two small corn tortillas which they shortly dip into some oil(at least that what I guess it is) before putting them on the grill.]

A really nice no-nonsense Mexican joint between boxi and Ostkreuz run by a bunch of really friendly guys.

The menu seems "vast" given the variety of tacos, quesadillas, etc but there's primarily just 3 flavours meaning you know it'll be good because they're not overcomplicating the menu.

5 tacos for 13Eur is great value and the flavours were really fresh and delicious. Their salsa seems nicely homemade and has a kick to it. The tacos are packed with flavour and incredibly tasty.

The only drawback would probably be the cheese which melts and gets really rubbery quickly, but doesn't really impact the flavor negatively in any way.

These tacos are sooooo good. Pork tacos is just a burst of flavour in your mouth and cactus ones have a great texture. The only problem is that five tacos are never enough. It’s also a great place to buy freshly made tortillas.
