We visited Bristol and decided to climb the tower, which was a great experience. The weather was good, which was lucky for us as we were able to see quite a bit. You can see many miles around, but you also get a good view of things nearby including the Clifton Suspension bridge and Brunel's SS Great Britain in the docks in the Harbour.

Fantastic views as far as the eye can see after a short climb up a narrow flight of circular stairs. The kids enjoyed the clear views of Bristol and beyond in this sunny, cool, and windy day, as well as experiencing vertigo looking down. Well worth the effort up Brandon Hill where the tower proudly stands.

Lovely lookout point with a bird’s eye view of the city, free of charge, atop a hill. Steep steps and narrow stairwells in the tower itself so not suitable for wheelchair users

Fun tower to climb up. The climb is tight so it's essentially single-file. Especially the highest part of the tower. But you have a great view of the entire area when you finally get to the very top. The stairs get more and more treacherous as you climb up.

Stunning view point in Bristol, with a lovely and peaceful park. Plenty space for sitting and enjoying the view. And lots of pathways to explore around. Beautiful nature and stunning views all year around.

A free tower climb in the heart of Bristol with stunning views.

The steps are a little tiny, use your phone as a torch for the first section, but this is well worth the climb. The first set of stairs are the hardest but just when the fatigue starts to creep, you are at the first lookout. The top platform is a much shorter and well lit stairwell up.

The stairwell is a little on the confined side, coming down is very easy - if you have larger feet be sure to walk on the outer edges for the widest step

Didn't expect to find this. I highly recommend visiting the park and climbing up to the tower if you're visiting Bristol. Narrow spiral stairs to the top and has two layers to view the city from. You can get nice pictures for yourself. And what I like the most is that it's free!
