Fun, chill and informative.

Excellent place, especially for kids, the playground is fantastic!

"I've been a Robin Hood fan for years and when the opportunity came to visit the UK, I jumped at a chance for a quick stop in Nottingham. Since we didn't have much time, I opted for a mobile tour from Chris.
From the first contact with Chris he made me feel less of a customer and more of a friend who he would show off his neighborhood. Even though I was looking for mainly Robin Hood sites, Chris convinced me that Nottingham had more to offer than just RH. I'm glad he did!
We started back in time viewing some of the caves in the area and moved up to the streets and districts. Chris is very knowledgeable and shared the history with passion but also in a way that kept our teen kids interested. Chris explained the importance of Nottingham to the UK in not only the lace trade but also in government. I had no idea. Of course we stopped at the major RH sites and discussed how they did or did not fit into the legend.
Our trip also explored current Nottingham. Our son is of University age so Chris made a point of driving us around the University of Nottingham. He also showed us the newer water park in the area.
As we were finishing up, Chris noticed the time and asked if we would join him and his wife Liz for afternoon tea. What an unexpected treat and we thoroughly enjoyed getting know know Chris and Liz on a personal level. Not to mention being able to experience a proper tea which in the States rarely do.
I highly recommend Chris and The Nottingham Experience if you have any interest at all in Nottingham. He is friendly from the start and his extensive background and story telling make for an enjoyable outing.
