Club Noir Amsterdam

The people in the club are generally nice, that part I really liked. The bar service can be quite slow and they charge you to use the bathroom— after you’ve paid to enter the place. Very scam-like concept. It gets crazy full (small venue) to the point where you can’t do that much dancing really, best you can do is maybe bob your head. The drinks are expensive, too expensive.

I can't really rate the place as the security didn't even let one of my friends in. At first they said its full. We showed them we had tickets. Then they said we can't go inside with the Amsterdam Nightlife ticket even though we got Noir as an Extra and showed it to them. Then they wanted to search us thoroughly even though they let the Dutch people in front of us with no problem. Then came the problems. From nowhere, they called one of my friends drunk and wouldn't let him in ( keep in mind, we drank NOTHING till that time ). After we said he was not drunk, they started talking in a different language saying stuff about "Romanian, Bulgarian" people, got super angry at us and used the excuse that there is dresscode and he couldn't get in ( we were 4 guys with jeans and shirts but only he couldn't get in for the same clothes ). They were trying to come up with reasons to not let us through.

Good place to hang out for Afro music. However quite unfortunate that I have to buy beer or drinks then ofcos u expect one to want to pee before adding more beer or wine whatever it may be.. but charging me to pee .. it’s my first time to see this in all happening places I have been too.. okay this looked funny . Drink be charged to pee .. it’s looks to be a police fine for peeing in a public place

Security is odd at times. Making it difficult to enter for the odd person.
Wardrobe to place bag and coat.

Place itself had a smoking section but in overall it's small and packed quickly.
Higher prices for drinks than other places. Can't recommend it because of that.

Music is nice and afrobeat focused. MC is a good hype men. Atmosphere is laid back
