I had a great experience. Be warned if you're out of shape like me, the full 14 tram trailhead is intense and steep. However, there are plenty of spots to stop and rest. Saw a few people quit at the halfway point.
Now that I've got the bad out of the way... the views are amazing and worth the effort! I wish I took this trail prior to all the housing development!
It's hard to describe the trail as it branches in a few different ways. Calling it a loop isn't quite right.

Just like it sounds, if you follow Tram up, it feels like you're following a Tram Line, cept your legs get to do all the work ;)
Great views. Well maintained. Looks like an awesome trail for mountain biking. It states its an expert bike trail so beware.
Great practice hike for our 50 mile excursion this summer. The middle section is steep enough that we had to pause and rest a few times. I liked that in the morning we were still in the shade for a good while. And all the other hikers were super friendly.
Absolutely stunning trail!
It's a pretty great trial, there is lots of parking to go there, trail isn't too steep and had some lovely views of the area
