This place is absolutely amazing and brilliant!!! Everything was outstanding, from the food, atmosphere, customer service and drinks. It is hidden away from the tourist-heavy areas, and it is a humble-looking restaurant with friendly staff. They don't just do mussels, but also other seafood and meat dishes (need, ribs and chicken). No hidden charges and food was of good size portions. This hidden gem is a must visit restaurant in Brussels! Two thumbs up!

First night in Brussels and we chose this place for dinner. Food was mediocre and they put you on the spot for a tip if paying with card. The staff members are very friendly and outgoing, but you will feel the pressure of their kindness when paying the check.

I was craving Moules Frites and passed by this restaurant while wandering the neighborhood around the church of Saint Catherine. They have a €14.90 lunch menu that's a really good deal, and the service and the food was authentic and excellent! I like that this place was frequently entirely by locals making me the only "tourist" there. I sat at a table outside which had views of the church and square; wonderful ambience and I would love to go back and try some other authentic Belgian items, like les boulets sauce tomate.

We went there for a late lunch, since we just arrived Brussels. Around 3pm. Service was good and quick. We ordered their plates of the day. 3 course meal that you may choose from many options at Euro23 per person. My husband and tried shrimp soup, fried squid, mussels in wine sauce, grilled fish, chocolate mousse and Belgium waffle. Very fresh seafood and salad. Taste is excellent. Not too salty. Location is great. Right beside Saint Catherine church. Reasonable price, very fresh seafood. Will definitely return.

If you fancy dry fish and chips that's the place, salmon was overcooked and chips seem like cooked ages ago and then just heated.
Crockets was raw inside and runny🤢
And stew is just a mess, really chewy and tasteless.
We ordered also a bottle of Cava which on the menu says €35 and been charged €44.
Waiters look like people who just passing by, no uniform or anything to figure out that they work there.
Service was awful too, never in my life waited longer for a bill.

Brussels is famous for Mussels. And if you really want to have a holistic experience of having mussels, then this is certainly the place.
The fast and efficient waiters will guide you through the menu as the wide variety of options to have mussels will delight your soul for sure.
The best part is that they also have a kid's portion of mussels with fries. Normally, my 9 year old son can not take an entire bowl in other places. But this time around, he could.
Set by the marvellous square of St Catherine, this place is absolutely wonderful

I booked at around 13:30 it was a sunday. Not too busy. The waiter was so nice, friendly and gave alot of insights about their food. I ordered the menuset for 23€ with 3 courses. Entree wss fried calamari and wooooah. not 5 minutes, food is served! Then got may mussels and fries and it was Massive! I thought i'll get the tiny one or atleast half the size of the regular just like the other restos but nooooo. The caserole is huge! Then capped off with Belgian chocolate mousse. Will go back here deff. Food is awesome!
