Decent shrimps with rice snd noodles.
The only problem is that they still have a lot of sodium glutamate added since we drank water like crazy after.
Atmosphere of a street canteen (which this place is), but prices are quite affordable, approximately 25 R for average shrimp dish.

Overpriced, overrated food
I ordered fried mee for RM25 for take away and asked for cutlery (fork only). The lady at the counter said we don't have as we already charge our food at cheaper price.
She is not happy and make noise from kitchen until i can hear them said out loud as if i did a crime asking for a fork.
Waited for more than 30 min to be exact 45 min. Because only 1 cooker.
The other guys who sell water from same owner said they cook more order first. U only order 1. So have to wait. Meaning not first come first serve.
My turn is up. They lady just throw the fried my and gone.
Bad experience. Wont come again.

The best prawn mee. Cooked without salt, sugar and ajinomoto. Big sea prawns. Reasonable price.

I have been here with my family. The prawn noodles (Mee Udang) were good with 5 pieces of AA grade prawns which cost RM25 per plate. But unfortunately the service was slow and not really welcoming. The place also needs to be rejuvenated so that it will be more vibrant just like the other nearby restaurants.
The best Mee Udang in Penang (for me) … portions are generous and the prawns are massive! 🦐
Always sold out so make sure you make a reservation to avoid disappointment 😉
