The weather was so ridiculously hot and this Ice Kacang cured a lot of that heat. Their Ice Kacang was pretty cheap and flavourful. We also ordered their Aiyu Jelly which was really refreshing. Cendol was mediocre though (probably because I don't really like Cendol in general). Looking forward to return here if I ever visit Penang again :-)

Cendol is delicious, shop deco is very traditional, like travel back in time to 90s, located at road side, no parking.

located along the roadside, this chendol place (RM4) is a small, hole in the wall shop with a stand and simple seating.
I also prefer it to the Penang Road one because I have the tastebuds typical of a child under five. the beans in this one are sweeter and that’s my only judging criteria. also it’s cheaper.

This Penang Road Famous ice kacang near Tan Jetty has the best Ai Yu. So refreshing, and the combination of the sweet and sourness are just right. The uncle is also so very kind when we ask for extra shaved ice. >,<
