I like these rustic places in Penang. This is one of the many stalls in the financial streets of Penang. Please try... food is just ok, but it is the experience, sitting by the road, under the sky next to old english colonial buildings that count the most.
Great spot for breakfast, I love that they use actual butter for their toast. Service is fast, make sure to arrive early, else get ready to be in queue.
The roti bakar telur goyang is tasty. Its not too crowded, not too worry as there are ample of tables. You can park in front of maybank. Try their pasembur as well. Please beware of the pasembur prices. Easy to just order based on small (rm6) and big (rm10) if you're too keen on the prices shown. Their nasi lemak Ikan Telur also quite good. Sambal is good.
Support local food.. support small enterprise! Keep a lookout along BANK OF CHINA, a small pushcart by an Indian uncle. Very friendly and sweet owner. Had one set of roti Bakar served with butter, sugar and 2 soft boil egg separately. Worth it! 4rm only.
