Nasi Lemak Ciksue

Great choice overall. Pretty diverse menu with both local and international options. Delicious food. Friendly service and opens till late which is a saving considering many other places closed down early when we were there around Eid time.

Took a 15 minutes Grab down just to eat here. Greatly disappointed considering the reviews.

We arrived at 7pm for dinner, the staff wanted to serve us food leftover from lunch. We insisted we wanted freshly fried chicken with our Nasi Lemak and the staff told us to wait for 20 minutes. That was fine by us. After more than 20 mins, the food arrived. The fried egg was cold, the rice was cold, only the fried chicken was freshly fried. Everything else were leftover from lunch from hours ago. How hard is it to fry a new egg or heat up the rice?? The cold rice was clumpy and hard. The sambal was also cold. Very bad experience.

Definitely will not come back again. The staff were friendly but not prepared to serve dinner.

The people there are really nice and helped us get seated. Our food came out relatively quickly once we ordered but unfortunately their chicken was raw so we had to send it back. They served us another plate and free dessert as well for the inconvenience but our appetite wasn't there anymore. It may have been a one off incident so hopefully your experience will be better there. The staff was extremely apologetic about the situation too.

Deep, creamy rice full of coconut flavour. Sambal proper spicy and not sweet. Cabai hijau SO good. Drinks refreshing and not too sweet. 100% understand if you don't take the word of some random white guy, but this is the most nasi lemak flavoured nasi lemak I've had in Malaysia (outside of home cooking).

I LOVEEE EVERYTHING ABT THIS KEDAI. food bit pricey for nasi lemak. but portion big weh, plus sedap too. so kinda acceptable la.

Food are good overall, drinks, though are simple easy drinks but they are definitely better than other stalls that I have tasted. Recommend the teh tarik! Only downside is it is quite difficult to find a car park. 😁 But it's penang after all, parking spaces are a headache.

To all foreigner who come to Penang, Malaysia, I highly recommend to try the one and only famous dish in Malaysia, Nasi Lemak (coconut milk rice) here! You'll love it!
