Unfortunately they are closing down Becuase there lease is up and they don't know what they are doing with there kitties .,

I have to agree with the last poster, they are incredibly difficult to deal with. I had previously adopted a cat from them and tried to adopt another one but “Lynn” wasn’t there so there was nothing they could do. She is very particular, gruff, and not friendly at all.
I would love to support this shelter but they made it too unpleasant.
I know I’m not the only person to have that experience as well, they would adopt more cats out if they weren’t so “particular”

I would LOVE to support this establishment but the owner is “too picky” about letting first time pet owners adopt from them. I’ve grown up with cats and dogs my whole life but because all those pets were under my parents’ names and not mine I was declined. I gave the name of my parents’ vet for them to follow up with, I offered personal references, and I offered to send videos and pictures of my home but was still told no. Really disappointing and really disheartening. The person I spoke to was very nice about it but was clear that policy is policy. 👎🏼

Have visited here and donated a few times over the past 7 years. Finally got a house that I am able to have pets in, but I cannot adopt through Craig St because I do not have an existing relationship with a vet?
I understand they want their cats to go to safe and loving homes, but to completely cut off new pet owners seems a bit much.

More people need to know about this place. Amazing cats need to be adopted and volunteers and donations are always needed. This no kill shelter deserves your respect.

Wonderful place to adopt. We have 2 from here and they're the best cats. Lynn does a great job running the show. I do wish we could visit the kittens one time though! Even just to see them run around would be fun. Maybe theyll allow this one day :) we also donate regularly and you should too!!!

CSC is dedicate to serving the needs of abandoned and feral cat colonies. They adopt out some, fully people friendly. I went in for a look and wanted to come home with 30 or so. Maybe 2 next time. An asset to this city, yet not in any way funded by it.
