We made a quick stop by the Velvet Taco, and we were not disappointed. We got 2 tacos to go, and they were great. Next time we come to town we will try something else on their menu!

Great place to visit after a night out! Open pretty late in comparison to some taco spots - definitely has some good options to choose from. Their chicken buffalo, their grilled steak, and their mexi-cali shrimp tacos are delicious! Has a few locations throughout Austin, so that’s a bonus!

Austinite here.👋 I tend to not really try too many restaurants in a popular "bougie" area as the Domain but after eating at Velvet Taco, I felt that I had to say something because they really did impress me! 🤯

Not only do you expect high prices around here, but they are not at this establishment. Prices are very reasonable and the tacos are rather large and seriously delicious and innovative!

We tried the chicken and waffle taco, the smash burger taco, cauliflower taco and brisket taco.. They were all flavorful and seriously delicious! Had a side of elote queso and chips-perfect!

If you want some fun and tasty tacos and love a good price- check this place out!

I really liked this place. The food was so flavorful. I ended up getting brisket nachos and it was amazing. My friend ended up with some tacos and chips with some kind of corn mix that was an explosion of flavors in your mouth.

Hands down, Velvet Taco is my new favorite spot! The food was out of this world, but what really made my experience stand out was the exceptional service. The front desk receptionist with pink hair (sorry, I didn't catch your name!) was absolutely lovely and made me feel so welcome. She was friendly, attentive, and had a radiant smile that brightened up the whole space. And a special shoutout to the burger - it was cooked to perfection and totally hit the spot. I'll be back for sure! 5 stars and a big thumbs up 💫

I had the Peruvian Pork taco that was absolutely fantastic! So much flavor!! It was a great recommendation from the guy behind the counter! AND, it was a weekly special that I hope becomes a mainstay! I have to come back and hopefully get another one!! Always been a fan of Velvet Taco and they don’t disappoint! Great friendly staff!! Amazing place went there for lunch then dinner as well and ordered the same Paneer fried 😀 well I am a vegetarian and best Vegetarian Tacos I ever had.. big shout out to the folks working there so friendly. If you are in Austin… stop by this place won’t disappoint you for sure..
