Nice staff, good paella and delicious crema catalana !

Delicious tapas. After a week of eating French food on our trip we wanted something a little different and we got it at this place in Versailles. Everything was very tasty, from the chorizo to the albondigas to the patatas bravas to the ice cream at the end. Service was fine, prices felt fair. Recommended.

The paella was excellent. The staff were very nice but after our meal a big rat came walking down the stairs and straight into the restaurant past where we were sitting. The staff explained there was building work next door and the rat must have come from there. As you can imagine this completely ruined our night and made me feel physically sick.

I am already going frequently to this amazing restaurant.

My wife and I had a fantastic meal and fantastic service here. We ended up getting the demi-plancha and an assortment of tapas with a bottle of Roja. The tapas were great, I especially liked the chorizo and Albondigas.

The waitress was excellent. She was very nice and accommodating. The service was a tad on the slow side but par for the course in France, overall.

Overall very happy with everything and I would recommend it with out hesitation.

I came here for lunch and ordered a paella formule (1 paella + 1 crema catalana) and calamari. For drinks, we ordered coffee with milk.

--- PAELLA FORMULE (18.9 EUR) ---
Taste wise, the paella was not bad. It was, in fact, enjoyable. Portion was good for one person and it came with a lot of proteins. The only thing that 'bothered' me was that it was quite far from being authentic. The rice was too wet and mushy. It felt like they didn't use the bomba rice or the cooking technique was not correct. Would I recommend this dish? No if you're looking to get a real paella, but yes if you just want to satisfy your hunger during the day.

The crema catalana is was zesty, and not too sweet. The sugar layer could be more consistently torched, though.

Overall, good value to price performance.

--- CALAMARI (9.5 EUR) ---
This is a half-sized dish but do not mistaken it for being too small. For me it was actually enough for lunch. I liked the combination of the cream sauce on the rice with the spices from the squids.

--- SERVICE ---
The waiter is super friendly and he speaks english. The place is very nice, both outside and inside.

We had the best Spanish food. We had Paela Marina (very flavorful), Planche (great spread) & the Croquettes. Strongly recommended.
