Went here last night with a friend to grab a bite to eat and it took over 30 minutes to receive my food. When the food finally arrived, I had to get it to go because it was getting late. When I got home to eat the food I bit into this hard thing was in my food. I’m thankful I didn’t swallow this plastic thing and my tooth didn’t break. Not sure if it was because I was black or this was a mistake but I’m not sure how are you not watching what you’re serving to people and expecting them to eat. If this is the best seafood place here it must be because of the location and not because of the food. I won’t be back.

The food was delicious, and it's a reliable place for good sea food. The oysters could've been shucked better but they were still good. I loved my caesar salad with shrimp :) our server Ryan was excellent

We enjoyed all of our food. We were in the area and decided to stop in for an early dinner. The space is pretty big and they are in a shopping center with lots of parking. The outside has a few photo opportunities that you can take advantage of too. You’re greeted as soon as you step in and seated almost immediately. We were definitely seated immediately. Our booth had a step up, so we were sitting above some of the other seats, but we thought it was cool. We just had to remember there was a step down when we were leaving. I enjoyed everything I ate here. I really liked the oysters and calamari, but everything tasted amazing. Everything was the right temperature and very flavorful. I even ordered a drink and it tasted good as well. Look over the menu before you go so you’ll have an idea of what you want. When you arrive you might be overwhelmed with the amazing options and choices. The service was really good here too. Be prepared to leave full and satisfied with your meal and with what you have paid.

This is a fantastic location for really delicious seafood offerings. I really enjoyed the different starters that were ordered. For dinner, i ordered the fish n chips with hushpuppies, however, had the lobster bisque instead of the chips as the side. The bisque was thick but smooth and extremely delicious, while the fish, hushpuppies, and tartar sauce really made it a complete journey to delicious land.
Will try to visit again.

We had a girls' day and decided to go to this location after our first location didn't have any heat. Ryan was our server and did an amazing job. He was very attentive and was able to answer all our questions and make suggestions. The food was delicious. The crab and shrimp dip was sooooo good. The lobster egg rolls were pretty good with the sauce. I had the crab cakes with grits and broccolini. The crab cakes were amazing. However, the grits were very bland and had no seasoning whatsoever. One friend had the crab cakes and brussel sprouts. She stated the brussel sprouts were bland as well, with no seasoning. Another friend had the rainbow trout with a salad, and it was delicious. My last friend had the blackened salmon and broccolini, and she said the salmon was delicious. Overall, it's a 10 for me, and I will visit again.

I discovered The Big Ketch about a month or two ago and I am obsessed! The restaurant is located in a plaza, so there’s ample amount of parking spaces. Their menu prices are surprisingly affordable, considering we’re in buckhead. I’ve had a handful servers take care of my party, but definitely Dash & Ryan are my favorite people. They’re both so sweet, quick and attentive. I love the vibe of the restaurant because it’s casual, but feels home-y.
The menu selection is small, but strong. My favorite appetizers are the crab & lobster bisque, calamari, raw & chargrilled oysters, and crab cake. The only complaint I have is that sometimes the chargrilled oysters get too overcooked and the breadcrumbs on top are burnt. My favorite entrees so far would have to be the rainbow trout, and blackened salmon accompanied by the teriyaki brussel sprouts and grilled corn salad.

My husband and I drove a very long way for date night to come to The Big Ketch. It was well worth every second of traffic. Johnna was our server and she was as sweet as can be. I had the seafood pasta and my husband had the fried shrimp. We started off with the chargrilled oysters. Dessert was cheesecake. Everything was spectacular. We were informed that the seafood pasta was new to the menu. My husband and I were blown away with the scallops in the seafood pasta. By far the best I’ve ever had to include by the sea seafood restaurants. I highly recommend The Big Ketch and especially the seafood pasta!
