One of the best sushi places in New York. The service is great, and they have a call button on each table that you can press to call a waitress. The sushi is very large, and the fish is very fresh. All of the sushi tasted amazing. This is my new favorite place, and I will definitely return.

The food here is always fresh and delicious. Not only that, every week they provide free lunch to a non-profit organization's art class for children. Thank you for your generosity and kindness. - HM art for kids -

It was good experience to have Korean sashimi. Side dishes were good including 아귀간 ankimo and 활어회 fresh seafoods and raw fishes were so yummy

I guess I had way too much expectation of this place. Their side dishes were just fine, , nothing special compared to other Korean Hwae (Sashimi) style restaurant. As you can see, those parts (fatty tuna, belly, jaw etc) are high quality and fresh but they need to work on balancing. It was just way too much fatty after more fatty. I wish if they offer more other way to enjoy those pieces not just a seaweed. And balance them out with lean-mid-high-otoro like that. With that price over $150, I don’t know if i would go back this place just for that side dishes and bowl of rice(not even in hot stone) with spicy fish stew at the end to be honest.

A seafood lover's treat. Started off with oysters, sea squirt, and abalone so fresh it moved. Then moved on to fluke sashimi. A huge difference in quality. Ended the meal with spicy fish soup. Was a bit pricey, but will definitely come back. Clean premises and attentive staff.

I had a hankering for sushi but it was so late, luckily we drove by this gem of a place. The sushi. Is. So. Fresh. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and patient with the way we kept
Pointing and the stuff we wanted on the menu. Alright on to the food!! The food was super super fresh, smelled so sweet and portions were huge!! We had an assortment of rolls, and they had fatty tuna (otoro) sashimi, and oh my god, like butter! They don’t skimp on the amount of fish in the rolls and sashimi, the Korean glass noodle entree was enormous, we had to take it home haha. But really, open late at night, super fresh fish, huge portions!! Can’t go wrong with Dokdoya!
