South Samrat serves one of the best sambhar in pune. Dosa and other south indian varieties are average but the coconut chutney and sambhar is outstanding.
Also honourable mention to its affordable pricing whether it is south indian, north indian or chinese.
If you are looking for good food with great quantity along with affordable prices, this is the place for you.

I always prefer to eat here but today i tried their thatte idli for the first time and the taste was not up to the mark .. the recipe needs to be improved i would recommend Tea , sizzling brownie and Masala dosa and their chitneys are also amazing
Awesome food they got some great chefs who will not disappoint on any given day for any item..also it's not crowded if we reach before 9pm.

Ordered a rava dosa, batter used was extremely old and hence got a horrible dosa also was cold. When asked the server he just warmed it and got the same one. Poor service, poor management.

It was a great lunch. It has a great ambiance. If you love south Indian food then they serve many varieties of South Indian breakfast like idli and dosa and also have many south Indian thalis. Must taste the thali here.
Consider this as over all 4.5 š¤© stars with full marks for Food and Service. I am rating this restaurant 4 out of 5 for Atmosphere because evenings are very crowded. Obviously canāt complain because of its food quality and fast service.
But I will absolutely give it 5 out of 5 stars for morning breakfast.
You should definitely plan a visit for its awesome tasty breakfast menu. And if you do you must absolutely absolutely try itās ācoconut uttapamā š¤¤
