Bistro la Gargouille

Fantastic local place. We came for a small birthday dinner mid-week. It was still quite busy. The burger is tied for the best one I've had in the region. Phenomenal fresh toppings. Great friendly service and atmosphere.

Right off the top, I just want to say how impressed I was. Came in with my fiancé for some cocktails and a quick bite. Our waitress Valerie was amazing, I asked for her recommendations on which cocktails we should try, and she took care of us well. The nachos are amazing. The deep-fried pickles are probably my favourite. A bit on the higher said pricewise, but it's justified by the quality of the service and big portions. You pay for a higher experience here. If you want cheap, then go across the street. Thank you for the great time. 10/10 definitely coming back In a few days. We may make this our spot!

Great place. The food was kinda mid. My friend got a 18$ platter of appetizers and was left thoroughly disappointed.

Regardless, my beers were great and the customer service was on point.

Great atmosphere, the food is good, there was live music last time I went for a girl's night out! I will go back.

Amazing place with a cool vibe. Live music and great food. But it's pricy. I had the bison ribs which consisted of 3 ribs for 25ish $ which seemed like allot. My husband had the tartar which again felt over priced. The nachos were amazing, but do be warned the half portion is 2$ less than the full portion,

Drinks and the fried pickles were fantastic.

Every single drink we had here was properly made. Even the Long Island which is usually the one drink that most places don’t put much effort into.
Nachos were great!
Tacos were okay.
I wouldn’t get the chicken wings again.

Overall, we were happy to have tried this place.

First time trying this place out. It was packed with people on a Wednesday but we managed to get a table without a reservation.

Friendly inviting and accommodating service. Casual comfort food offered on one side of the menu and more elevated options on the other side. The bistro offers a large selection of cocktails with a possibility of customizing drinks.

The deep fried pickles were a pleasant surprise. They were well seasoned and crispy and the same can be said of the onion rings. The pulled pork sliders were cute and tasty while the Gargouille poutine was just dirty dirty delicious.

We will definitely be coming back and sample the other side of the menu. Until next time!
